Steigenberger Omar El Khayam Nile Cruise - Every Monday from Aswan for 07 & 04 Nights

We were at first concerned after reading a review saying that the ship was ‘run down’, but we were quite impressed. It was bright very clean and comfortable. Seating areas were well grouped, very comfortable furniture, immaculate carpets. We found the food very good, buffet style, only niggle was lack of choice with breakfast juice towards the end of the cruise. We stayed on for the whole week, while some people left at Abu Simbel and others joined. We found all staff friendly and very helpful, huge thanks to Manager Mr Adel, reception staff and delightful restaurant team, from Mr Nabil, Ramadan and the talented chefs, especially Faris with his wicked sense of humour. Wi-Fi sometimes not available, but we didn’t mind. Excursions interesting, they provide a guide for people not in a group.
