Can't believe it! Coming to Athens for years and only just found this place . Great craft beers, music and staff . Such a friendly welcoming bar - close to all the places to be . Will definitely return. The hotel part also looks brilliant value for the location

Flying in from Orlando for a Cruise, my wife and I decided to go two days early and see Athens. I booked this not knowing anything about the Hotel, other than its desirable location. (Acropolis) After booking, from the Google maps, I questioned my decision. Narrow streets, graffiti, concerning appearance. We hit the jackpot. Small, three rooms only. A small Cafe on the ground floor, table flow out into the street. (Like most Cafes there!) The owner "Angelo" was courteous, helpful and personable. The room was modern decor, clean, spacious and very comfortable. And, based on my research a value. Breakfast was included. Angelo's restaurant recommendations were excellent! We were a 10 minute walk from Acropolis and the sights. Highly recommended!

The our breakfast was perfect, enough, cappuccino,coffee, orange juice, omelletts with ham and chees, bread, greak salad, tomato, olives, feta, olive oil. We are satisfied with this breakfast in Athens. We have stayd here in October. We traveled Fromm The Czech Republic.

We only checked in about five hours ago so have not spent the night yet. We had not even made it to passport control when we had a message asking when we expected to arrive. The welcome when we arrived was very friendly and happy. Angelo (Angel) has recommended a number of places for dining, shopping, sightseeing. This little area has a really cool vibe. First impression, is this is a well attended neighborhood hang out. Our room is clean, well stocked, cool shower and the air conditioning works well. The refrigerator does not get cold by US standard. Considering we are in Greece, it works very well. Sitting at the little tables on the street and people watching is entertaining. Angel even recommended restaurants in Chania Crete, where we are headed next. Did not have to carry our luggage up the stairs to our room, they took care of it. The cold coffee is so much better than I had at almost every place in the US.

Loved the staff, the accommodations and the lively atmosphere. While this was a 5 for me, if you need a quiet atmosphere in a conservative hotel on a main thoroughfare, you should probably find another hotel. If you enjoy a lively atmosphere with great music playing downstairs, a clean, comfortable, modern room, a delicious breakfast included, and a friendly, helpful staff all in a charming and vibrant neighborhood a short walk from Monastiriki Square, then this is your place!

I wish I could give 5 stars - I really do. The staff was awesome, location was great, breakfast was good and atmosphere was upbeat. But. This guest house is also a community bar, so if you are the type to go to bed early, you will be frustrated by the evening bar atmosphere. The rooms have earplugs, but if you are a light sleeper, or planning to get up early to see sights / catch an early plane, you will probably prefer a different location. It didn't help that construction across the street started at 7:00am (which really isn't the guesthouse's fault, but it constricts the number of sleeping hours). On the other hand, if you are up for the nightlife, this place is awesome. People are so good that they will make your trip to Athens a great experience.

I went the first time to Athens and booked 2 nights at the Frog Guesthouse. We got welcomed warmly by Marina, who showed us everything, helped with the heavy luggage to the other building. She also gave very good suggestions where to eat where locals go too. Great breakfast in the morning. Since our flight was very early the next morning, Marina organized a breakfast bag for us to take to the airport. I for sure will go back to the Frog Guesthouse. It's perfectly located you can do a lot by foot and explore Psiri the neigbhorhood that offers so much to see.

The Frogs Guest House is a new hotel/ bed and breakfast in the heart of Athens. The best thing about this hotel is the food and the service. Breakfast is included with your stay and it is scrumptious. The people running the hotel were so kind. They provided excellent service and treated us with so much kindness. They arranged both our port and airport transfers. And since we were leaving at 3 am, they packed a to-go breakfast for us. I cannot say enough about how well they took care of us. As a new establishment, there are still some kinks to be worked out. But nothing major. I would definitely recommend staying here for your Athens adventure.

Hotel changed our room did not get what we booked. One bedroom loft bathroom downstairs, no hot water for a day, a/c did not work and safe was inoperable. Room was located in another building which you had to enter through a ten foot chain linked fence and then enter the room. Staff was not helpful and rude.
