One Ocean Resort and Spa

Azurea is one of my favorite beachside restaurants in Jacksonville. Customer service is always top-tier, you're very lucky if you get to have jay as your server, jay is excellent, and will make sure to take care of you and your guests!!! when I don't know what to get, I trust him to recommend the best item for me, everything he's chosen for me has been delicious. He knows the menu very well and he takes his role seriously. the sea bass and salmon is also a must try!!!

Such a great place and location! We’ve stayed here a bunch and it’s always really nice. A full service boutique hotel will all the amenities of larger properties without the hassle. The ***** of shopping and restaurants all within walking distance is perfect for getting away and leaving your car behind. And a shout out to Saraim! Every trip has that one staff member that stands out and this time it’s her! Always getting things done, making things better and spreading her great vibes to all. Thanks to everyone and as that big guy once said: I’ll be back!

The rooms were very clean and the view from the balcony, spectacular. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. David at the beach was very helpful setting up the beach chairs and umbrella. He was extremely courteous and very attentive to our needs.

Our annual celebration of our Mothers birthday trip is always memorable. One Ocean has outstanding ambassadors naming Debra specifically. She made us feel extremely welcomed and attended to our needs. She has a delightful personality and really cares about the guests. Kudos to Debra! Thank- you for enhancing our 92nd birthday celebration!

The room is excellent. Beautiful view to the ocean. The service is amazing. Incredible food. They have the best crème brûlée. The beds are very comfortable, the bath very clean. They have direct access to the beach and a very good pool. 100% Recommended.

One Ocean is the best hotel in the area. A wonderful experience. Great service. Great location. Debra the guest ambassador made our stay special. It was our 6th wedding anniversary. David with beach crew took good care of us on the beach. Will at the pool bar provided excellent service. The Valet crew was excellent. Glenn in the restaurant was quick and friendly. Connor at the front desk was very helpful. I highly recommend One Ocean if you are in the Jacksonville area. Will be going back.

Relaxing stay on Atlantic Beach. Beautiful beach and pool area. Pool area is sunny in the morning and shady in the afternoon. Hotel supplies chairs and umbrellas. Walking distance to many great restaurants and shops. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Property and the rooms are clean.

Just wanna send a huge shoutout to Adrianna Stewart for making our Sunday Happy Hour at their beautiful bar a wonderful experience!!! Adrianna is extremely knowledgeable, professional and very attentive to customer service. She was a delight in every way! After some confusion at check in, the remainder of the trip was great. We were there for 4 nights for a business conference. The resort was very clean and well stocked and decorated beautifully. It appears to be well maintained, as no visible broken, damaged or out of service areas were noted. The reception area is decorated nicely and is very large, with comfortable seating available throughout. There is a curved large staircase leading from the LL (lower level) to the L (next level?), where there is an elevator available to the 8th floor, OR, you can take an elevator from LL to L and then another elevator around the corner from L all the way to the 8th floor. It would be a bit more convenient to have one elevator from the LL floor all the way to the 8th floor, but not a deal breaker, just odd. There's a spa located on the L floor. It looks nice but pricey. For the conference, we had 3 large conference rooms, as well we a dining area and other meeting rooms. All were very spacious and tastefully decorated. There is plenty of outdoor lounging areas with tables and chairs and patio features. Meals were provided by the staff for the conference and several tasty components of the meal were offered and were temperature appropriate. The room was clean, except for the outside of our windows. There's a condo under construction and that was our main view. I'm sure the dust stirred up from the construction and the moisture from the ocean is why our window was so dirty and hard to see through clearly. There's likely not much the resort can do about this until the construction is complete. There's a refrigerator in the room, as well as a Keurig, but no microwave; however, I did see hospitality deliver a microwave to the room across the hall. I've never seen that done before. The bathroom is super tiny. In fact, the door swings open and is millimeters from hitting the toilet, so you have to do a little creative dance down beside the toilet to get in and shut the door. There were plenty of clean, bright white towels and cloths available. There's a large screen TV with Dish Network service. Don't plan on watching too much in the room, because the channel availability is very limited - maybe 25 channels total, with a lot of them being sports. After I realized this, I watched my DirectTV Streaming on my iPad instead. The outdoor pool was heated, with many chairs available around it. The outdoor area was clean and tidy, with ample beach towels available. Access to the beach was just steps away, with a beach attendant providing chairs to resort guests as requested. The beach area was very clean. The resort is located in a unique dining/shopping district. Everything is basically within walking distance. Joseph's Pizzaria and Whit's Frozen Custard are 2 must-try dining locations and they are pretty much across the street from the resort.
