This place felt like a crack-den. From the moment we arrived, to the moment we cancelled our last 2 nights in order to get out as fast as possible. Even when we arrived, there were a couple druggies on the doorstep. Dirty. Smelly. Unhygienic. In fairness, it was the cheapest hostel we could find. But it seems there’s a very good reason for its low price. We weren’t expecting Caesar’s Palace, but when we were fearing drinking the tap water, and leaving our bags in the room, some questions need to be asked. Management seemed sound, no complaints there. When we checked out early, he even gave us a 4 night coupon for the place, saying we could sell it to another person. Unfortunately, this coupon was a mere scrap of paper with a couple feeble promises scribbled on to it. The dorm doors were rarely locked, the locker keys you’re given seem to open every single locker, defeating the point, and the toilets seemed to be allergic to any cleaning products whatsoever.
