Holiday Inn Express Auckland City Centre, an IHG Hotel recensioner

Breakfast was decent but a bit repetitive, so it would’ve been nice to have some different options on different days. The location was great and really convenient, but cleanliness could definitely be improved — the bathroom and cups weren’t properly cleaned. There’s no on-site hotel parking, and the alternatives were quite expensive. The most cost-effective option was Victoria Street parking, about a 5-minute walk away. The hotel charged $59 per night for Wilson Parking, but it came with limitations, which made things quite difficult. On the plus side, complimentary dental kits were provided, which was a nice touch.

The hotel is located in the central of the city, just a few minutes walking to all the sceneries. The room is very cozy with clean bathroom and comfortable bed. Highly recommended!

I had a really good experience! The staff was so friendly and helpful. They let me change my room because of the tv. The breakfast was ok. The coffee was good.

Friendly staff, clean and comfortable room, good views, great location, close to downtown and harbor. But the breakfast simple, almost same menu every day.

Nice room. One of the best breakfasts compared to Holiday Inn Express in North America. Service is good but would be better if they have more staff at reception at the busy hours. Generally very good except for parking. The garage next to it is charging nZ$59 for overnight parking (i think 6pm to 8am) for hotel guests and more than NZ$20 an hour during day time so if I park the car there for a day, it would cost more than my room. If you are going to stay there, parking your car at Victoria Street Parking which charges NZ$24 for night and NZ$10 (max) for day time, maxing out at NZ$34 per day. 6-7 minutes walk from Hotel.

I've stayed here twice now and it doesn't disappoint. Opted for a higher floor for the harbour view because i spent most hours working in my room. Buffet was sumptuous and front desk staff so helpful! I needed some things printed and they did it for free! I'd stay here again.

The hotel is in a good location, can see the sky tower from our room. The staff are nice and the breakfast is great, a good choice for stay in Auckland👍

Nice hotel in the middle of downtown Auckland very close to the sky tower. Staff were friendly. Biggest frustration was one of the elevators was out of order so it took a while if you were waiting to use one.
