Nice getaway from the fast paced environment of the city. Hotel is so charming and surrounded by calmness and nature. We also enjoyed the restaurant very much

We had a very short but lovely stay in the castle, overnight with breakfast and dinner as well as a spa treatment for 2. We were a just married couple on a city break honeymoon and we appreciated the surroundings, the quiet village and atmosphere in the castle. We took the opportunity to photograph ourselves in wedding bride gown and groom suit in the gardens on a sunny day before leaving the castle. It was perfect and we must certainly say that the castle staff is marvelous and very welcoming.

Terrible experience at this property! We booked a 3 night stay and only stayed one night since this was absolutely not what we had expected for a supposedly 5 star experience. This was supposed to be a relaxing trip with my mother and it turned out to be a disaster. By reading the reviews I see that others fell in the same trap as us. We were sold a stay at a Château and ended up in what might have been prior the maid quarters in a tiny and dirty room (photos included) 300 meters from the chateau. The manager there Lucie (who happens to also be the daughter of the owner) only cares about the groups that stay there and gives the worst rooms to the individual travelers. When we shared our concerns to her, she did not give a crap about concerns and was absolutely rude to us! Not professional with an arrogant attitude and she totally looked down on us. I stayed in many 5 star properties in my life as an executive traveling the world but this one is a total rip-off! There is not even a coffee machine in the room. They give you a tea kettle to make your coffee… and the cheapest of all they give you one tiny carton water per room (which would not even be enough for one person) and don’t replenish it when the room is cleaned. The restaurant manager on the other hand Kevin and Night Shift associate Mounir were absolutely kind to us so in a sea of disappointment we were grateful to have met them!

Castle, service, SPA, parc, the breakfast ... Everything is perfect. We had a great time there in couple The SPA is very nice, and well maintained.We booked by Staycation for 1 night. Checking is 16h and checkout 12h. Could be more ....

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PROPERTY AT ANY COST! Long story short: the place is far off from five-star hotel experience! Let me expand a little. Two families arrived to stay at Chateau d’Augerville, thinking about a wonderful weekend spent there. When we came to the reception the first impression was a strange and unwelcome atmosphere welcomed us by the receptionist, who bearly speaks English. He showed us the rooms, and guess what?! The rooms smell felt like we are inside the stable, wall paint ripped off, no fresh air. Additionally, the staff was so arrogant, and not willing to help resolving the issues once we stated all that. The communication was a complete disaster. Funny fact, that they were expecting us to speak French, but not them to speak in English. The most important fact, if you are not staying at the place, because you did not expect all those things mentioned above they will scam and fraud you, taking all your money without issueing a refund, stating that we are wrong about the smell and all the amenities and quality of the room are as decribed!

We arrived late afternoon and were surprised by the overwhelming Châteaux. Well renovated and friendly. Staff is not always fluent in English nor any other languages. They do what they can. Nice room. Good AC. Good beds! The golf is superb. Difficult course but nice to play! You hear nothing but birds and quite! In short realy worth going for a few days!
