Fairfield Inn & Suites Augusta Washington Rd./I-20

This hotel is very new, clean and modern. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was very good, and the hostess was amazing. We will stay here again the next time we visit Augusta. It is located close to several restaurants and was a convenient place to stay.

The non-suite rooms are tight, cramped and expensive. The room has adequate lighting. The was water pressure is good. The arrival of the elevator to your floor is made with a loud gong. There is not enough for two people’s luggage if staying for more than one night. Plentiful parking and the slots are oversized. The exhaust ventilation does not work and the bathroom was filled/covered with steam. There is no housekeeping provided if you stay more than one night. No clean towels and our trash was not emptied. We were not notified of this policy when we checked in. Plus, we asked if we would have housekeeping the following day and we were told that we would. We asked the next morning and again we were told that our room would have housekeeping. We finally hunted down a housekeeper at 1630 and got fresh sheets. Oh yeah, their breakfast was good.

We are Marriott Titanium members and stay at a lot of Fairfield’s. You get a clean room and good breakfast. Not the case here. Breakfast went to 9:30. We were there at 9AM. No bread/toast. No English muffins. Just seedy bagels. The other breads were never replenished. By 9:10 they ran out of mini quiches, biscuits and sausage patties. They were never replenished. Another customer asked if they were brining out more food. The breakfast server never answered, she just walked away. By 9:20 the breakfast server was taking away the pan of scrambled eggs. We asked Michael at the front desk what time breakfast went to and he confirmed 9:30. Very disappointing. Michael was nice and said he’d tell the manager. But I left with barely any breakfast. I stop at Fairfield’s for a clean room and a hot breakfast. I only got one of the two. I would not stay here again the next time I’m in town.

Good clean updated hotel with amenities such as microwave and mini fridge in room, desk and large closet. Comfortable beds for a good night rest. Location right off interstate. Greeted with lemon infused water and cookies. Nice friendly staff.

The hotel was fine- clean, modern, etc. The only downside was the breakfast. it was lame. But the hotel did the trick - and was well located right off the freeway. Fine for a quick stopover. There's a Dunkin across the street too.

We have stayed at this hotel twice and can’t say enough about the hotel, staff, and service! The hotel is clean, well-decorated, and affordable—-cheerful and comfortable. Everyone is friendly and kind. A special shout-out to employee, Heather Thompson, who went above and beyond to extend our reservation and make our stay the best while we were dealing with a hospitalized family member. We look forward to staying there again in the future!

We had no control of the air conditioning/heating unit. It runs 24/7 with no option to shut it off. You have to listen to the noise 24/7. We switched rooms and still had the same problem in the new room. Wish we had stayed somewhere else.

Paid $300+ for a room. No AC. Bugs. Poor customer service. Asked to be relocated and was met with “waiting on my manager to call me back” waited for an hour and left. Absurd. No offer of refund. No Alternate property. Been at hotel for roughly an hour with no real Answers. Just passing the buck. Employees not armed to provide customer service. Abismal ownership/leadership. The brand should be embarrassed to have a flag on this property. Called Marriott corporate just to listen to a call center rep repeat what I told them and how disappointed they were. Escalated to a supervisor whose “hands were tied” based upon prepaid non refundable rate. Still no action. This is indicative of poor leadership and a corporate culture that does not value customers. I’ve stayed at this peppery for years and been loyal to the brand. This is not how any customer should be treated, much less a loyal, repeat customer. Total fail

1. NO hand sanitizer 2. Changed breakfast no hot items micro ever thing 3. Mornings NO COFFEE other time ground in cups 4. Garbage outside 5. Garbage cans not empty. 6. No handicap parking in handicap. 7. Car always parked in entrance so pick up is very limited. Will call our office and move our group.
