Crowne Plaza Denver International Airport, an IHG Hotel

Waited in line for 45 minutes to check in. One person checking people in while other workers came and went from behind the desk. Outdated hotel.

The accommodations were a big disappointment based on stays at other Crowne Plaza hotels. A handicapped person, traveling alone, would have difficulty getting up the long carpeted ramps to the unreliable elevators. They don't have rooms with roll-in showers and a king or 2 queens so we had to stay in a room with a bathtub. My spouse is paraplegic and couldn't reach the shower controls or soap dishes from the built in bath bench. Toiletries were not replenished without a specific request. The "wheelchair accessible" room was small and hard to navigate. We had requested a refrigerator, for medical reasons, during the reservation process and follow-up before arrival. We didn't receive it until the 5th day of our 8 day stay. Their restaurant prices were quite high; however there were several others within walking distance.

I reserved a parking space here because it said that it was 2.5 miles away from the airport and had shuttle access, only for me to ARRIVE and realize that it’s over triple the distance, and they don’t have a shuttle service to the airport! So I had to pay for an Uber, which was $20 both ways. So it almost tripled the price of the stay because of “not updating the third party service.” If you’re taking my money, you should be able to update something that is one of the main reasons people park here! Absolutely do not spend your money here, go somewhere else.
