Super 8 by Wyndham Aurora East

Motel is being renovated, should be made aware of this when booking.  Made a 4 week reservation (pre paid) only to be told upon arrival that they only allow a three week stay and had to wait 2 hours for trip. Com and motel to work out refund for one week.  I then had to call 3 hours later to find out where we stood because the motel would not check me in.  Neither trip.com or the motel would make any exceptions.  I had to pay for a one night stay so I would be able to check in while they worked it out, the motel did in fact refund the one night the next day.  No microwave or fridge available for a three week stay.  Only one staff member was friendly and accommodating.  Lots of rif-raf coming in and out of the lobby, lots of noise.  I realize this is not a high end motel but still should be made to feel safe.

booked 4 nights and left after the first night. Front desk staff was rude saying no guests were allowed without an ID even though I payed for the room? Guarantee they didn’t ask all the homeless people on the staircase for IDs. Very unsafe building, side door didn’t lock and someone continuously tried opening my door at 1:30am when I was sleeping. Woke up to a man trying to open the door until someone across the hall came out to see what the ruckus was. Left after that night. I didn’t expect much but I was thoroughly disappointed. Vending machines were out of service, room was dirty and smelled disgusting.

Do not book this place. We arrived at the address provided and we were informed by the front desk that the building is no longer the Park Inn hotel but super 8 for a week now. We were left out in the cold and rainy day without accommodations from the hotel. We hope we were advised by the hotel and or ******* but no one took initiative and accountability.

The property was great for the purpose of our trip, to sleep and shower. Didn’t spend much time there aside from that. Could have been a bit cleaner but overall it was good. Staff was super friendly and helpful, and it was very quiet/peaceful during our 3 day stay.

The coffee was hot but other than that no continental breakfast no Danish no donuts nothing just hot regular and decaf coffee and a 5 or 6 oz cup pretty ratchet for the amount

Needs to be cleaner and updated breakfast needs to be out daily and on time for it is said it's available during booking and wasn't always the night shift staff Greg and Erica even the security guard Mr Dre was all the highlight of the properties care and hosting they were not only informative but professional
