Creekside Luxury with Bikes and Local Delights - Charming Urban Retreat

Recharge from your Austin adventure in our urban creekside home. Quirky and unique, but full of cozy details. The cottage is a wonderful mix of luxury and rustic! The bedroom, with creek views, has the comfiest queen bed. Sectional couch pulls out to a bed- great for movie night! -A short Uber to downtown. The living room, open to kitchen, has a easy to maneuver pull out sectional. The small bathroom is completely updated with beautiful tile. We offer a vanity area for getting ready to go out! The open kitchen has anything you would need to prepare a full meal ! We leave coffee, creamer and a wonderful welcome basket. The house is set on a busy street, but it is on a deep lot and overlooks a creek bed. A unique find in Austin. We live nearby, but the property is for you! Enjoy! We live nearby so we may stop to say hello, but you will have your privacy to Enjoy Austin. The house is set on a busy road, but has a fence and is set back. The AC/heater can usually muffle the sound:). It is a wonderful east side bungalow and is situated on a street mixed with high end homes and fixer uppers. The bridge over the creek leads to another cottage. We are a street away from 7th Street where a bus runs regularly. For us, Lyft and Uber are the best bets when getting downtown. If you message us beforehand, we can hook you up with some beach cruiser bikes. Is noise an issue? The house is located on a busy street so it can be noisy. We do provide ear plugs and a sound machine. The location is GREAT and convenient to so many cool venues. What is the parking situation? There is plenty of parking for a car or two in front of the house and plenty more on the street. Distance From: Airport - 4 miles Convention Center - 2 miles Zilker Park - 3 miles Domain - 15 miles University of Texas/Moody Center - 3 miles Is the space wheelchair friendly? The entire house is one level and the doorway to the bedroom is fairly wide. The driveway is gravel and brick. What is in walking distance (within 1/2 mile)? Coffee- Flitch, St. Benedict (trailer), Sa Ten, Medici Restuarant - Kinda Tropical, Justines, Sunnys, Betos, Bars - Hi Sign Brewery, Wanderlust, Central Machine Works How do I check in? A day or two before your arrival, we send the details for your check in: address, door code, wifi info. You will be able to come and go using a code. Your personal code is activated at 3 pm, so if you request an early check in the code may not work. Just remind us! Can I extend a stay? To extend a stay, you can request through the app or message us. We will check the calendar then send confirmation with the new payout. Can I change or cancel my reservation? It may vary a bit between platforms, but usually 5 days prior to arrival guests may receive a full refund. If a guests wants to make changes within the five days arrival or after arrival, we cannot provide a refund. Are pets allowed? We love dogs and love to host but they do cause more complications for our cleaning crew. We have a limit of 2 dogs with a 100.00 pet fee. Please let us know if you are bringing your pup. If guests arrive with a pet without making prior arrangements, the fee is 250.00. Because of allergies, we cannot host cats. Service vs Emotional Support Service dogs have received specialized training to perform a specific task or tasks for an individual with a disability are considered service animals. Please provide the documentation and the pet fee is waived. Emotional support animals are important as well, but they will be charged the pet fee. Are there extra pillows? We provided two pillows per person. For instance, a queen bed will have four sleeping pillows. We leave plenty of extra blankets as well. Are extra guests allowed? If you have a few (2-3) friends pop over, this is not an issues. If you have extra guests sleeping over or more than five guests for an event, please ask and we can asses:) Is smoking allowed outside? Yes, you are welcome to smoke outside the space. Please pick up cigarette butts. Smoking inside the home would result in a 250.00 fee for cleaning and possible blocking nights for other guests. Could we leave our luggage? We are able to store luggage in the space for two hours before or after check in. Let us know so our cleaners are not surprised. Our house down the street with a safe carpart - also a safe option for leaving bags for a longer time period. Just let us know. There is also a service (usebounce) that is an option for storing bags. Could I have an early check-in or late checkout? We use the DACK app (info given upon confirmation) where guests can purchase extra time before check-in or after check-out. This allows our cleaners to manage their time and have houses ready in a timely manner. What is a MUST do in Austin? We love Barton Springs (especially in warmer months). South Congress has so much in a close proximity. Park close to Jo’s Coffee and stroll from there (shopping, cafes, music!). Vera Cruz tacos are really the best Austin has! Our Capital is gorgeous and very worrth a drive by!
