This was an older property, built in 1910. Buildings were clean and upgraded, somewhat. Our room had a slanted floor, which apparently other guests had complained about. Didn't really bother us much. Bathroom was very small like a half bath made into a full bath with a shower. Shower was less than 3 ft wide by 3 ft deep and I would say 7 feet high. Other than that, the managers were very accommodating and helpful.

La Paloma Las Flores was a very cozy place to stay. We stayed here for 2 nights and it was perfect. It was easy walking distance to all the main attractions. They only have stairs so the walk up and down may be a little difficult but the employees are more than happy to help. I would 100% come back to stay here again.

This hotel was tucked away in a quiet and a breezy and shaded arch staircase that expanded from one end to the other. Comfy bed, quiet and peaceful and quirky. The perfect place off the beaten path and just out of town!

Had a very nice stay. Staff is very friendly and accommodating, especially with our luggage. While the rooms are not spectacular they are clean and it was nice to have a little kitchen, although I did not use the oven. The property is inviting with a water fountain in the front courtyard and lots of greenery that canopy over the stairs that lead to the rooms and office. It’s quiet during evening and nighttime hours, clean, and very convenient to restaurants, shopping, the beach and activities. Great place to stay if you aren’t looking for “fancy” and we will be back.

We LOVED our stay at this hotel. We had an apartment style room with a patio balcony that we spent every morning and evening on. The view was wonderful, seeing both the ocean and up into the valkey & hillside. It was among local housing but so quiet and comfortable. There was a grocery store 2 blocks away and fabulous restaurants 3-4 blocks down the hill. Anything you could want to walk to was less than 20 minutes away in any direction. The staff was the BEST making sure to greet us daily, check in on any needs and getting extra pillows, towels or others requests to us in minutes.

Easter Break in Avalon
We loved this place. I gave it 5 stars all around considering this is perhaps the oldest hotel in Avalon built in 1910. So, don't expect the Four Seasons with granite and crystal champagne flutes. It is old, and it leans, this is about the experience, not the amenities. It is a very well taken care of hotel with great charm. The hosts were extremely nice as were all the other guests. There is the only Von's on the island very nearby, and it is a one minute walk to all the restaurants and shops. Our room had a great view of the city and harbour. My 17 year old daughter loved it. We will come back for sure.

I've been coming to la polama for the last 6 years and have never left disappointed. Easy walk to and from the boat. Right across the street from Vons is always convenient.
