Eriskay B&B and Aviemore Glamping

We had a fantastic stay in a great location, just 20 minutes from the town centre and tucked away from the hustle and bustle. The owners were very friendly, the accommodation was great, and the breakfast was delicious. We highly recommend this place for your stay. Thank you to Ken and Gill for your wonderful hospitality. What a fun and welcoming place to stay. Hosts Ken and Gill were wonderful and I highly recommend having their breakfast. We didn't book the rooms with breakfast but they were able to add us in for a reasonable fee. We stayed in one of their "Armadillo Pods" which was a unique experience. The entire bathroom turns into a shower! It was like being in a Tiny House mixed with the hominess of a B&B. The price was very reasonable and the stay was one of our favorite places during our three week trip to Great Britain.

The experience has been superb! We enjoyed the hospitality of Ken and Gill and the delicious breakfast. The Glamping is very cozy and offers everything you need. The hosts went out of their way to accommodate us, this is greatly appreciated. Thank you Ken and Gill and hope to be back one day! Highly recommended!

This was our 3rd year back visiting Ken & Gill at Eriskay, we started off visiting this place as we enjoyed trying new places but we have since returned every year for the fantastic hospitality provided by them both. Ken & Gill go out their way to ensure you know the area, the best places to eat and serve the best well varied breakfasts we personally have ever had in Aviemore! We stay in the glamping pods each year and can't fault them, from the cleanliness of the pods and the shower/toilet area within them, the cosyness and the access to their lovely heated bothy which have cooking/washing facilities, a dining table to enjoy your food and many many board games to enjoy as a couple or a family, or you can cosy up infront of their fire inside & watch some TV if you fancy it. If you love being in the company of animals then this is your place to enjoy a cuddle with Leyla the Pug or a pet of Moya the Cockatoo who are both the sweetest and most patient pets with the guests, I even noticed if guest aren't too sure of animals, Ken & Gill ensure to give them their space & put the animals away. We really don't have anything bad to say about Eriskay, we leave every year looking forward to returning as Ken & Gill make this place feel like a home from home! We enjoy getting outdoors for walks/hikes, which are all accessible via a short car journey and even on foot. If you decide to visit here, you will not be disappointed!!

Nice, clean and cozy pods in a town surrounded by beautiful nature which can be discovered in all thinkable ways. The hosts are very kind, energetic and enthousiast. You'll feel most welcome. Always helping in making plans and besides all this fantastic chefs for breakfast.

Just returned from 3 nights staying in one of the garden pods. Very friendly welcome by Ken on arrival who fully briefed me on the use of the pod and the facilities. The pod, itself, is very very comfortable and had many accessories such as a small fridge, coffee machine etc and a full internal toilet shower cubicle. Communal outside cooking, sitting area and a small shed with books etc. The pod was immaculate.Over all a great place which is very quiet sat just off the centre of Aviemore which is 5 minutes walk away. I took breakfast on all three mornings and Jill presented a full breakfast, (great choice ) with the best porridge I have tasted. A full fried breakfast or continental is available. Ken and Jill are marvellous hosts . Over all, a marvellous friendly and quiet stay.
