It’s our second stay at the hotel and we weren’t disappointed. Funny enough we had the same room. Good vibe, great amenities like welcome basket, fresh hot croissant in the morning, wine and appetizers and what about cookies and pie ☺️ Very close to the beach and restaurant all walking distance. If you want more restaurants selection, you have Pismo beach just a short drive away. Great little quiet spot where you can rent bikes to visit around and do the Bob Jones Trail or simply walk to Harford pier to listen to the seal.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Avila La Fonda! We loved the Spanish decor and ambience of the hotel and our room - the attention to detail was amazing (and our in-room hot tub was great!) We loved the complimentary morning croissants, midday salsa bar, and evening pies offered by the hotel. And the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, as well as very attentive. We will definitely return to stay at this great hotel!

This is an excellent hotel for adults and fur babies. It's literally 1 minute from the beach and Avila shops and restaurants. It's super clean, quite and it's a perfect place for couples or groups of couples. The breakfast is croissants and coffee, fruit and water. Lunch is beer and chips and dinner was charcuterie and wine.

We could not have been more delighted with our stay at La Fonda. We had an ADA room as my husband is in a wheelchair. The room was comfortable and the roll in shower was easy to use. In addition to the welcome basket of snacks and drinks in our room, there was a lovely continental breakfast with fresh croissants, receptions with appetizers and delicious pies in the evening. Combined with the coastal breezes and easy walk to the beach made this the perfect getaway. It’s also perfectly situated for day outings to Cambria, San Luis Obispo and Morro Bay.

Beautiful hotel. Friendly staff. Breakfast croissants were delish. With the mid day chips and salsa with beer, wine reception in evening & pie at night, there's no reason to leave the hotel! Everything was fun! Location was perfect, walking distance to shops, restaurants & beach.

Amazing location and the cutest boutique hotel. The staff was so friendly and went out of their way to make our stay memorable. A bottle of champagne for our anniversary, pastries and snacks throughout the day were a nice touch. We loved the jacuzzi tub as well!

The Avila LaFonda is always a joy. This time we were celebrating our 55th Wedding Anniversary. Lovely card and chilled bottle of bubbly much appreciated! Food is always great and offered so often! We look forward to returning in the near future.

Cozy and very clean! The food perks were a nice surprise..fresh croissants in the morning, chips, salsa, guacamole, beer at noon, late afternoon wine and small bites, fresh pie in the evening! Great location along with such attentive staff!!

What an awesome week at the beach! We stayed in the grand deluxe king room with extra patio space and gas grills. The extra patio space and bbq setup was a dream! The kitchen was stocked with plenty of cooking essentials. Took advantage of the short walk to the beach multiple times a day. We love the fresh coffee and warm croissants to start the day. We even participated in the dog parade! I’m already planning our next stay!
