I recently stayed at this Hotel, and it exceeded my expectations in every way! It’s a great choice for families looking for a peaceful retreat away from the busy streets of Barcelona. The location, about approx 45 km from the city, provides a quiet and relaxing atmosphere—ideal for unwinding after a day of sightseeing.
it’s important to note that you’ll definitely need a car to get around, as public transport options are limited in the area. However, the drive to the city is straightforward, and having a car gives you the flexibility to explore both Barcelona and the beautiful surrounding areas.
Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a family-friendly place with a tranquil setting just outside the city. It strikes the perfect balance between relaxation and accessibility.

Though off season (beginning of February) the grounds were well kept and the the building was traditional and elegant without being pretentious. There were period tiles and wood flooring, woodwork and doors. The views were wonderful. The sitting area was inviting and cozy. Our room was spacious and the bedding, with a choice of pillows was really comfortable. The breakfast was well presented with fresh fruits, local cheeses and cold cuts, yogurt, musli, eggs cooked to order, fresh juices and more.
But what made our stay truly memorable was the warm greeting by Xabi at the reception that really made you feel welcome and a valued guest. He offered insights into the history of the hotel which were interesting. All the staff was pleasant and helpful. We also visited the Vinseum in Villafranca which is well worth a visit, but plan plenty of time because there is an abundance of information. Nice would be to spend the morning, go out for lunch and then return in the afternoon.

We absolutely loved our stay and highly recommend it. We loved the stocked kitchen for snacks and drinks available at anytime. Dinners at the restaurant were incredible! Gorgeous location for long walks among the vines.

Beautiful, stylish and friendly boutique hotel in stunning grounds with olive trees and vineyards in quiet county setting. Staff were all super friendly, room was large with huge and comfy bed. Breakfast and dinner were also top notch. Will certainly be back next year

Hotel Font de la Canya is an eleven out of ten, it is an incredible place. We came for a couple weeknights and it was absolute heaven. Everyone we encountered was lovely, the food was top-notch, and the place itself is gorgeous. Staying here was a highlight for us. I highly recommend, and having an event here would be amazing!

This hotel was the first night stay during our private wine tour that started from Barcelona. After visiting two wineries in Penedes and enjoyed a great lunch at a restaurant, we settled down in this boutique hotel. We stayed in a room, VITIS, a large room and has a huge private terrace. The room looks the same as the images on their website. The restaurant serves simple but tasty dinners. We sat outside and enjoyed our tapas dinner. The common space has an open bar. Local wines and snacks are free of charge except during dinner time, so try to enjoy your wine as an aperitif before having dinner there! Breakfast starts at 9am. We had to leave at 8:30am so asked if we could have a simple breakfast at 7:45am. Yes, on the breakfast table, we saw a plate of cut fruits, yogurt, juice, and bread. Coffee is self-service and can select espresso, cappuccino, and Americano, etc. This is a wonderful place to stay. I wish I could go back again!

This is an excellent hotel. Very comfortable, great service. Amazing breakfast, as well as dinner. Shower and bathroom very good. The pool perfect but above all the vibe is special, chill and cool. Very very good
