Waikanae Beach Top 10 Holiday Park recensioner

We spent 4 nights here in less than perfect weather but our stay was made easier by the clean fresh accomodation and the covered pool. We made good use of the pedal carts for hire and a delicious food truck right in the park! The location is incredible. You can easily walk to shops and restaurants from the camp. The park is right on the beach where there is an abundance of space and fascinating structures made of logs washed ashore. An adults playground! The boardwalk runs along in front of the camp and has some interesting statues and a fun playground.

We had a good family holiday. Booked into Ohope Top 10 in 2024 and enjoyed our stay so decided to try Gisborne top 10 this year. It's a more affordable destination if you are on a tight budget.

Very good stay. Pool was a hit with the kids. Room was clean and comfortable. Staff friendly and helpful.

Superb campground. Best location, beautiful facilities. Great staff. Lovely big sites highly reccomended. 4 minutes walk into cbd!

Beach front camp site with all sorts of facilities included such as hot and cold showers, Powered and non-powered camping sites and furnished cabins.

What a great place to stay and cheap prices to very close to town and a must for all children with the big swimming pool

The location is excellent, so I was able to walk everywhere. Lovely swimming pool, close to beach and town. My ensuite cabin had everything I needed. The only slight negative was a bit of road noise that nothing can be done about.

We feel to stay in a rather classical holiday park, close to the city but in too opened sites offering no intimacy.

Had the misfortune of spending a night in one of their double ensuite cabins, what they don't mention on their Website is that these cabins back right onto a main highway! Apart from the noise from the general traffic passing by, when the log trucks pass by the ground shakes just like in an earthquake! This noise issue is know to them as I found a couple of sets of earplugs in amongst the tea bags the next morning. There were a number of other issues pertaining to cleanliness and functionality I could have forgiven then for if only I had gotten some sleep!

After travelling around the East Coast, we found our apartment in the Top 10 property. We were impressed with the facilities available. Would highly recommend to other travellers.

Great campground for 'normal' close proximity to others camping. Just a heads up, although this camp is right on the beach, there is a big wired fence right on the edge of your site. Obviously times have changed and they need to ensure security of campers - fair enough, but a bit disappointing if you are expecting leisurely beachside camping.

Close to the beach and walking distance to the Main Street. Safe and quiet sites. We will be staying again for sure.

A real shame that our tent site was right next to the garbage and also backed onto a main road with significant road noise from trucks all night long.
