Southmoor Farm is approximately 40 acres and apart from the farm house, the majority of land remains untouched, apart from grass maintenance. The result is acres of secluded 'wild' areas, including woodland, meadows, lake, ponds and streams for you to enjoy. Apart from being a bird watchers paradise, we can boast a multitude of wildlife with deer, fox and badgers etc. in fact your very own nature reserve.This very peaceful and secluded cottage was rebuilt in1989 to the original design with local stone, solid walls and a low exposed timber beamed ceiling and has recently undergone a complete interior refurbishment.Accommodation comprises of a carpeted open plan sitting room and kitchen, modern units, oven, microwave, refrigerator/freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer. The sitting room area with a large inglenook fireplace and wood burner is tastefully furnished with a sofa, armchair, flat screen television and coffee table. A carpeted staircase rises from the sitting room taking you to the bedroom with a roomy king size bed, flat screen television, pine wardrobe and bedroom furniture. This in turn leads you into the spacious fully tiled shower room and toilet, with vanity unit and heated towel rail.Heating is by electric wall heaters and wood burner with logs supplied without charge.
