Travel with kids, convenient to local delight food n Kek Lok Si Temple view during CNY

I’m here for the Penang Hill so the location of the hotel was perfect for me. Lots of great food options and 2 convenient stores few steps away. Room was great and got me good night sleep before and after my hill hike.

Very good and exellent location for visiting pengeng hill and temple. Near reataurant and drink and food court snd shopping mall. good sunset and sunrise view. breakfast provide with ice cream. reasonable price for family siuit and very big room with living room and bedroom in family hotel.

DeView is like my second home whenever I return to Penang to visit my elderly sisters. I have been a regular guest and each time I return I feel so at home here in DeView. Spacious room. Beautiful view of the city and hills on the 5th floor of my room. Good location with lots of food stalls at a foodcourt and coffee shops near the hotel. However the toiletries can be improved especially the quality of the bar soap leaves hand feeling oily after wash and toilet roll is too thin. There is no hand towels place in the room. Each time I return, I have to request for it from housekeeping and not always available. This time of my stay, I was told the Akino Restaurant no longer serve breakfast. I was so looking forward to morning breakfast during my previous stays. Although the spread were limited, but to me it was sufficient for a simple meal. There is a new halal restaurant, Warung Mamak took over the site which serves roti bakar set with 2 half boiled eggs and a cup of coffee. Cheap and good if you are lazy to walk to the nearby foodcourt for breakfast.

Room was ok with amenities. Just that we were unable to get to the rooftop bcos either it’s too late or too early and it’s locked. The view was awesome. Many eateries nearby and walking distance to temples.

We only stayed 1 night, strategic location to the places we wanted to visit. The a/c is strong, we mistakenly set too low so we were freezing throughout the night. Good for those who like it that way.

Convenience space for couple. Good location. Nice Service. Nice View.

Like the place as it was closed to Kek Lok Si. My kids favourite food is Miso soup on breakfast list 🥰 Overall it's satisfying stay.
