Just returned from a great week at Tasia Maris Beach and Spa. 1st week of November and the weather was around 24-26 degrees and sunny every day. Check in at hotel was smooth and efficient. Had paid for a sea view room and the view was fantastic overlooking the hotel pool and down to the beach and sea. (room 425) Room was a decent size and spotless, clean and tidy. (Huge bed) Great shower with lovely white towels. Soap, shampoo and conditioner provided. The restaurant is run brilliantly by George the restaurant manager. We found the staff very professional, efficient, pleasant and polite. Anybody who complains about the food at this hotel, really shouldn't travel abroad, as we found it to be quality, varied and very tasty. Breakfast was unbelievable, the choice so extensive, from porridge, cereals, pancakes, waffles, cheeses, cold meats, breads, fruits, freshly made omelettes to your own requirements, full English breakfast and more. Snacks and lunch, ordered from a menu outside at the Pergola restaurant were great and arrive quickly. At dinner we just found a table, put in our drinks order, (you can order a bottle of mineral water but the carafe of normal water was quite acceptable) then we went straight to the fresh soup bar with a selection of bread rolls, then the extensive salad bar. The main meal dishes were varied, hot and tasty. There's also a pasta bar with ingredients and sauces cooked to your order. Even had fresh mussels cooked for me one night. Then comes a really good selection of desserts. Grounds of the hotel were kept clean and tidy and well maintained each day. Pool was chilly this time of year but okay once you were in and so refreshing after getting out. Entertainment was enjoyable but for two nights we were there it was just music playing but this did not spoil the holiday. A great chill out week at a great hotel that really looks after you.
