Atlantica SunGarden Beach

Just returned from a lovely week at this hotel. Everything was smooth from booking process, check in, flights, transfers and hotel check in all booked with TUI. Absolutely no complaints. The hotel is very nice. I’d say some areas need abit of attention but on the whole it was lovely. The WiFi is excellent. Never had any problems. We had a sea view family room but there was only 2 of us staying in it. I think it would be snug if the other 2 in the room were teenagers as there isn’t masses of room to get around. There is a good amount of storage and plenty of hangers. We had an added bonus of sun loungers and a table and chairs on our terrace and it was a game changer for us. Fridge, kettle, safe in the room all great. A lovely bathroom. The shower gel provided was nicer than the Molton Brown we had taken with us so that speaks volumes. You will never starve in this hotel that’s for sure. The restaurant is open alot of the day for breakfast, lunch and dinner plus there is always sandwiches and cakes in the bar area and hot snacks near the pool to help yourself to. I started this the day before leaving the hotel and was going to say there is no swim up bar which is advertised - however we just found another pool area we had no idea about and there is a swim up bar!!! The other pool is like a whole other village with lota more rooms. The indoor pool was closed when we arrived but opened on 1st April. The gym didn’t open until 9am which I think is alittle late. It wasn’t manned so I don’t see why the door can’t be unlocked earlier. It meant I didn’t have time to go before breakfast. I think in summer it opens about 8.15am which is alittle better. Also this area need a refurb, the equipment is old, rusty and not very clean. It’s also not air conditioned there was just a single unit to turn on yourself in a corner but didn’t cover the whole space. All staff are really friendly and will go out of their way to help you. Entertainment was just ok. Some nights were worse than others. If felt alittle bit like Haven. We didn’t sit in the main room (we sat in the bar outside but you could still hear it). Bar staff are really friendly and ready to top you up when you are running low. 2 small comments (I don’t want to call them complaints) … our room was located opposite the staff room and as they start early they are particularly loud. I think it would be better for their room to be relocated as the walls are very thin so as soon as they arrive you are woken up. Also the air con in the rooms wasn’t good. During the night was very hot. We had air con running and the temperature never dropped below 20 which felt very hot. Especially when you are using hair dryers abs straightners in the room. During the stay, it was my partners 60th birthday. The staff were so lovely. They gave us a bottle of champagne and glasses for the room and the ala carte made an extra special effort. Just returned from a great 10 days at this lovely hotel. As many of the photos show the location is great with stunning unobstructed views over the Mediterranean. It about a 20-30 min walk to Ayia Napa either along the beach that you can access via a set of steps or down the main street into town. Rooms are good, clean and well appointed but there is only a small gap between the end of the bed and the worksurface with only room for 1 person at a time. Ensuites are very nice and great sized shower. The soundproofing is great but noise form the corridor can still be heard at times (Especially when the revellers start returning from the nightclubs at 3-4am!) Food is fantastic, each night has a theme and there are lots of options available at each sitting so no need to repeat anything unless you really enjoyed it the first time it was there. One particular highlight was the fried slice available at breakfast, this is the first time I have seen this in a hotel not in the UK and certainly brought a smile to my face. We had one meal t the al la carte restaurant and it was lovely, you have to pre order the night before but the quality and service was top notch. really tasty and very well presented. Pools were great, we set up most days at the larger family pool as there was more of an atmosphere and had no issue with finding a good location in the first week, the second week got a lot busier and there was a lot more towels being placed to reserve beds very early I'm the morning which did limit our choice in the second week. The hotel does have a note in the room saying that reserving beds is banned and that towels will be removed but I'm pretty sure this wasn't enforced. Activities were a bit patchy and when compared to other hotels we have stayed at very low key. There is only one person (Who is great and tries her best) in the animation "team " so activities are not that well promoted or advertised. The best was the pool aerobics but all of the other things were right in the heat of the day which would have made participation quite uncomfortable. Entertainment To be fair after seeing a lot of the reviews we went expecting a lot but the shows at the amphitheatre were good. We didn't go to the indoor bar so cant comment on the quality of the singers there but to be fair you have Ayia Napa town on your doorstep so if its not to your taste it wont take long to find something you do like. Highlights - Staff are all lovely especially the reception and restaurant staff - Food - Really high standard, lots of variety and well cooked. - Cleanliness - Always immaculate and towels replace whenever requested - Location - 1.50 Euros to get on the bus that will take you as far as Protaras one way and the other end of Ayia Napa the other and a very short walk to the beach means this is probably the perfect location. Possible improvements - Put up "quiet please" signs in the lift areas and corridors - it works at Premier Inns. Our room was dead opposite the

Just returned after 10 days holiday and having our wedding here. On arrival at 11pm check in was pleasant and prompt there was sandwiches available and drinks at the upstairs bar. The room we had 227 was spotless clean with big balcony and sun loungers free safe and comfortable bed we asked to move for more space for my wife and her bridesmaids to get ready and this was no problem moved next door to a 2 bedroom apartment The pool areas and bars were excellent and the snack bar at the kids pool was excellent serving burgers nuggets pizzas and salads from 10.30 The food itself in the restaurant was plentiful and even for a picky eater like myself there was always something. The drinks were all good from the all inclusive range Our wedding day was amazing and all the venue is beautiful All the stall went above and beyond to make our special day perfect and mr Andrea’s the manager was outstanding through and nothing was too much Will definitely return

We have stayed here a few times now and every single time, every area of the hotel is pure perfection 🤩. We have booked again for September as we have found the swim ups are fab and don’t look anywhere else, why try others when you already have perfection! 💛

Food always cold, no one comes to take the temperature. We had to get changed in disabled toilets which is absolutely disgusting when we payed what we did for my daughters 21st birthday. Had to leave the room by 12 and our flight wasn't till 11.40 at night. Staff are so lovely but I will not be going with Tui again
