Excellent experience! It’s a shame we only States one night! Every thing was beautiful and cosy! The people were very kind en helpful. Dinner was good, with plenty of choice for everyone. The lunchbox also Well-stocked with a variety of product!

We had an amazing experience at Baobab Tented Camp. We stayed there for 2 nights. Good tents, nice shower and amazing view. Next to the good accommodation, the staff made our experience the best. They were amazing. Kind, supportive and humoristic.

This was one of my favourite accommodations while on safari. The tent was so lovely inside it doesn’t feel like camping. You have a 4 poster bed(s) which are so comfortable. The views from the room and also the outdoor shower are so beautiful of the Serengeti. During the night you can hear the animals which makes it all the more special and adds to the experience of safari. The staff are so lovely and the food is also so good. The main tent has a bar area and an outdoor area to relax around the fire and take in your surroundings. If I go back on safari I will definitely be staying here again.

Baobab Tented Camp was our first night on a One-Week-Safari and it was tremendous. We didn’t know what to expect: Sleep in a tent in the wilderness!? But starting with a very warm Karibu Sana we felt like home. Great tents, great food (gluten free was no problem!) and most of all nice people far beyond expectations. Asante Sana!!!

Honestly I was a bit disappointed.... it was our most expensive night in Tanzania in a week long trip and as a result we had really high expectations. Unfortunately we were somewhat disappointed.... absolutely no ice for drinks, only a handful of marginally cold drinks, sheets/bedding substandard as old and warn, empty shampoo and shower soap bottles in the shower, trash baskets still with previous guest's items. We cannot fault the service of the staff or the food as it was great but I do think there should be more attention to detail in the smaller things. Our 4 kids were sharing an amazing big tent and were never told to switch off the lights so came back from dinner to no electricity. Little things like this did concern me. BUT venue and staff were great!

Dzedah,the manager of Lake Burunge Baobab Tented Lodge, warmly welcomed my wife and I and explained all the meal times and facilities as soon as we arrived. The setting on the lake was wonderful. We swam in a large swimming pool watching birds and one giraffe at the lakeside. All of our meals were first rate and the meal service was excellent. The lodge even provided us the opportunity to pick what food items we wanted for our lunch during an all day safari. All in all, we have stayed at several tented camps and my wife and I rate this camp as one we enjoyed the most.

Fantastic spot – incredibly beautiful and clean premises with amazing service. The workers there looked genuinely happy and were so friendly. Joyce in particular worked incredibly hard and meticulous in every detail – at dinner my mom lost a battery pack case walking in the dark and the next morning she had found it and gave it back to my mom. The rooms were beautiful – they had hot showers, hot and cold drinking water, lots of charging stations, and even mosquito repellent at the ready. The mosquito nets were very helpful, and the pool was spectacular for cooling off. The food here was one of the best – there was a huge selection of delicious local foods for dinner, and for breakfast they had an omelette/egg station/fresh hashbrown station along with all the typical breakfast items. In the evening we saw elephants in the distance as well. Absolutely would recommend this place!

We spend one night at the Baobab tented camp during our safari in Tansania. Food and location were excellent and the staff very friendly and attentive. The camp really lives up to its name as "Home of the Elephants". On our drive to the camp we even encountered a bull, who appeared "not so happy" with us crossing his territory, but thanks to our experienced guide we managed the situation well.
