Blue Bird

Such a peacful place on the perfect lake of Bacalar with its blue waters and white sands. Kayaks and paddle boards are complementary which is a plus. The very well kept garden with lots of possibilities makes you feel at home . The staff is friendly and helpful. The bungalows are furnished nicely with special care and the AC works perfect. My Tacos were prepared fresh and tasted very good. We will come again to this little heaven.

The hotel itself and the room is quite nice. However, we had a minor and a major issue. Minor: The food is not good. This is really a pity since it would be amazing to hang out at the lake all day. Like this, you have to get into town for lunch and dinner which is quite a hassle. Also, they only offer 2 pieces of toast per person in the morning which is an incredibly stupid artificial limit and left me hungry. Major: I gave them my laundry to wash. Apparently, they gave it to an external laundry. It had a gut-wrenching smell when it came back. The staff agreed that it was pretty horrible, but refused to help us beyond giving us the number of the laundry service. When we called the external laundry service, they refused to do anything about it. We ended up paying (100 pesos) for a load of laundry that immediately needs another wash somewhere else. We escalalated it at the hotel, but they kept referring us to the external laundry service. ("You can get a taxi and go talk to them") This is unacceptable for a service we bought at the hotel. Overall, due to the fact that the staff and the management doesn't care about the experience of the guests, I recommend not to stay here.

Excelente lugar y muy buen servicio de Recepción y todo el personal, siempre con la mejor disposición y actitud de servicio, las vistas son muy bonitas, hay servicio de alimentos y bebidas así como un bar con bebidas, muy bonito el amanecer y paseo en la laguna.

Muy buena experiencia en el Hotel Blue Bird. La vista está espectacular. La distancia al centro bastante buena. Todos super atentos, en especial Ángeles con sus recomendaciones y súper atenciones.

Personal muy atento, gran ubicación, pequeño y reconfortante. Las instalaciones no son de la mejor calidad, baños disfuncionales, ofrecen "desayuno" a la carta pero muy limitado en calidad y cantidad, Internet con WIFI muy malo, prácticamente sin ningún servicio de bebidas después de las 8 pm. No proveen mucho de lo que ofrecen, el lugar es pintoresco y el personal dedicado pero no compensa el costo excesivo.

Solo nos falto la atencion de k nos movieran de cabaña ya que por la noche no dormimos x ruido en el techo de palma que eran aves.. eso no estuvo adecuado ya que la tarifa no es tan baja y se podia hacer el cambio… tmb falto un poco de limpieza ala salida ala laguna en el piso con lama . Y olia algo a orines los kayak.
