Serenite Ella

I loved, loved, loved staying here. The view is spectacular from the tree houses (ie rooms), looking out over a waterfall and surrounding mountains, and the resort is conveniently located in that it is not too far from town but far enough away not to be able to see it or hear it. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were very helpful. The pricing for the onsite spa is the best in the places I have stayed, so I booked a two hour treatment which was really enjoyable. Had dinner and breakfast at the onsite restaurant. Both nothing fancy but nice enough. Highly recommend.

My parents and I stayed at Serenite Ella for two nights. It was truly Hospitality First! Being a part of the industry myself, it was truly heartening to see how they bend over backwards to make the guest comfortable. The view is stunning from most of their rooms, monkeys can be a nuisance in the morning so be careful. Another thing to note, there are a lot of steep stairs to go to the rooms, and to go back to the reception. So if you are traveling with elderly people, keep this in mind. All in all a Stellar property, excellent staff and great food! Their Sri Lankan breakfast was absolutely delicious. My parents were celebrating their anniversary and these guys went above and beyond to make their day extra special. Mr. Chatur was very accommodating and made sure everything we need was taken care of. Definitely coming back here!

The open air cafe where you feel the clouds passing by is an amazing experience. The rooms are clean and well maintained. The staff is very friendly and helpful. All the meals we had were delicious although the menu is a bit limited in vegetarian options. However, there is a lot of climbing up and down steps to access the rooms.
