Nice place with great views but the way to get to the hotel is difficult without small vehicle. The host was very pleasant doing his best to accommodate to our requests. The rooms were clean but considering the location do expect some insects .

During our stay at Red Rock hotel for two nights, we had an absolutely fantastic time. The view from the balcony was simply amazing, allowing us to soak in the beauty of nature and a lovely waterfall. The spacious and tidy rooms were a real treat, ensuring a comfortable stay throughout. Ramesh and his wife welcomed us warmly, taking care of all our needs and ensuring our experience in Ella was exceptional. They were always available to answer our questions, making our stay hassle-free and enjoyable. Moreover, the food at the hotel was outstanding! The portions were generous, and the flavors were absolutely delightful. It truly added to the wonderful experience. Our entire stay was worth every penny spent, leaving us with cherished memories of our journey through Sri Lanka. The care, comfort, and hospitality at Red Rock hotel made our time there truly special and unforgettable

Comfortable room,nice relaxing atmosphere, nice staff very helpful. Recommend for groups good food they're arranging tours taxis tok toks,rental bikes for very affordable prices. Very nice panoramic view you can see from your room

Stayed for 3 nights with young kids... Comfortable, spacious and clean room with a balcony... Awesome view of Ella Rock and valley from the balcony... Caring staff especially Janake who took care of us.... Great breakfast... Route to the hotel is bit difficult; Tuk Tuk would charge extra amount. Overall we had a perfect experience and would love to stay here again. Highly recommended 👍

We had a wonderful stay at ella rock hotel. We lacked nothing. We always had a Super Sri Lankan breakfast. The host was friendly and we had a good chat with him. He also had recommendations for us on what to do in Ella. Due to the current situation, there was always a good way to walk from the city to the accommodation. But this was always rewarded with a beautiful view. He also lovingly took care of our onward journey, so we had no problems traveling further. Thank you for the nice stay.

Endroit fabuleux, vue exceptionnelle sur les montagnes. Chambre spacieuse avec un beau balcon. Des souvenirs plein la tête !! Merci à l'hôte qui nous a chaleureusement accueillis. Loin de la foule, un site qu'on n'est pas près d'oublier.

Overnacht in dit hotel na een omboeking. De weg er naartoe is een uitdaging, maar de locale bevolking rijdt zonder problemen omhoog met de tuktuk of een 4x4. Onwijs steile weggetjes. 😅 Mooie locatie met prachtig uitzicht. Kamers zijn ruim en schoon, voorzien van een balkon. Geen airco, maar een ventilator. Airco ook niet nodig, gezien de temperatuur. Op loopafstand van Ella. Via een shortcut kun je dalen naar het dorp. De terugweg via hetzelfde pad is steil en best pittig. Natuurlijk kun je ook kiezen voor een tuktuk. Rondom Ella is genoeg te doen en Ella Red Rock is een prima uitvalsbasis. Zeer vriendelijk personeel die je helpen waar nodig.
