This house is protected by the Superintendency as a typical example of an ancient Venetian rural residence and belongs to the current owners for three generations. The most recent part has been restructured respecting the original typology trying to give back the ancient atmosphere. There are ceilings in wooden beams and an ancient fireplace that restore the atmosphere of the peasant family. From the house can be made round trips within the day to Ferrara, Verona, Venice, Padua, Vicenza, Mantua, Florence and Lake Garda.The residenceThe country house "Sotto i vecchi Pioppi" is composed of two juxtaposed bodies, one older, built from the seventeenth century and the other, more recent, built in the nineteenth century. The entire exterior of the residence and the inner part of the most recent wing were the subject of a complete restoration operation respecting the original typology of rural house and was made to restore the atmosphere of the ancient peasant house. The house is equipped with heating, internet and obviously outdoor parking.The outdoor area of two thousand square meters it is completely fenced with an automatic entrance gate for cars and people. There are willows, poplars, linden trees, maples, oaks, walnuts and many fruit trees. The park in front of the house is perfect for enjoying the cool in relaxation and silence of the countryside. The farm as a whole, in addition to the house, is equipped with barn, agricultural tools, 3 tractors, and 10 hectares of land cultivated with corn, wheat and soy. Guest AccessThe whole most recent and renovated part of the house and the whole outside fenced area are available. The house consists of kitchen, living room with fireplace, study, bedrooms, bathroom.Guests can freely cook and use all the tools in the house. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishes, a microwave and a dishwasher. In the house there is a washing machine. In the living room there is an old original fireplace but for safety reasons its use is not allowed.The outdoor area is equipped with a table, benches, garden chairs, sun loungers and a mobile barbecue that is great for grilled meat.Some bicycles are available for relaxing trips in the countryside or along the Po river.Your animal friends are welcome.In addition to the use of the entire house, the price also includes electricity, water, the supply of bed linen and towels. Nearby, within a radius of four kilometers there are at least five restaurants or trattorias at very reasonable prices. The supermarket is 3 km away.
