nice hotel with breakfast buffet and heated swimming pool good for family bonding, unfortunately the staff was not that friendly and the bellman seems like you need to give him a tip after his service and also the receptionist but I would like to commend the housekeepers, lifeguard and parking staff for always greeting us. I would definitely come back because of the hotel amenities

Nice and convenient location especially when taking board exams. Will definitely book again when we visit Baguio City.

Room description not indicated (no view or miuntainview) unlke with other booking app. Our room was noisy because of the exhaust. It was hot in the room and with poor ventilstion.

On Tuesday, December 10th, I purchased TWO double espressos at breakfast time from the hotel’s front desk. I presented my receipt at the coffee station after paying with a Navy Federal Credit Union Visa card. A very young man with glasses made two shots of espresso from one pull of ground coffee in the espresso machine, and then poured one shot of espresso into each of two small espresso cups. I explained that I had purchased two DOUBLE espressos, yet he insisted that each of the two shots was a double espresso. As I was pressed for time, I addressed this with the hotel’s front desk staff the subsequent morning (December 11th). They understood from my above description that I was given two single espressos, despite my paying for two double espressos. They agreed that I would pay for one double espresso that morning (December 11th), yet receive two DOUBLE espressos as a remedy for what happened the prior day. I asked that the front desk staff worker (a young female) accompany me to the coffee area to explain the transaction to the coffee staff. She apparently explained something to him in their language, and left. He merely made one double espresso, and I asked, “Where is the other?” In defiance of what the hotel’s front desk agreed to, he stated, “That’s what your receipt says, so that’s all I’m making.” I went back to the front desk, and told the girl that I still wasn’t being given what had been agreed upon. She and I went back to the coffee area. The young man now apparently changed his story, and the young woman explained that he wasn’t yet finished making the second double espresso (when he was actually refusing to make it in her absence). She added that it wouldn’t fit in the cup. He then made four shots and put them in one cup. He was visibly angry, was mumbling something incoherently, and was specifically pointing at the menu to the price of a single espresso (which was totally irrelevant to the situation). I had originally thought that this employee didn’t know the difference between a single and a double espresso. I now think he does indeed know, yet gave me two single espressos because he didn’t think I’d know the difference, and because he didn’t want to take the time to make two extra shots. I drink espresso every day at coffee shops, and also have an espresso machine at my home. I clearly know the difference between a single and a double espresso. He did several things wrong: 1) He initially gave me half of the espresso shots that I paid for. 2) He defied what the front desk staff told him to do the second day, despite being told to give me two double espressos. 3) He was angry and argumentative. 4) He made up another story when the front desk staff came back after his defiance of what he was told to do. 5) He didn’t apologize. 6) He brought up irrelevant things after a resolution was agreed upon by the hotel’s front desk staff.

try the Lunch Buffet at 580 pesos, wonder food and Very Good Service. i enjoyed my Lunch Buffet at The Element Restaurant ,I Had a great time with the Bridal Exhibits, I decided to try the Lunch buffet, the place has a Good Covers & so busy , the Element Restaurzinant was packed due to Sunday's. the foods Is amazing. I love the Shrimp and Pork Asado. I will dine here again, thanks.

We recently booked a function room at Newtown Plaza Hotel for my mother’s 60th birthday celebration. The initial inquiry process was smooth; the events staff replied immediately and shared the packages in detail. However, as the booking process progressed, it became increasingly challenging to get a timely response from the hotel. Important information requests often took days to be answered, which was frustrating given my extensive background in event planning and customer service. One of the significant disappointments was the lack of a provided event layout. The staff informed me that they do not offer layouts and instead follow the guest's layout and guests should send one. Additionally, there was no proactive communication regarding the final detailing of the event, which required me to take the initiative. I couldn’t help but wonder how other guests with less experience manage in such situations. When I met the events executive in person, she was pleasant and professional, which reassured me somewhat. I hoped that the event day would run more smoothly. On the day of the event, the events executive was absent (but she said she’ll meet me even if its a Sunday), and I was not introduced to the banquet captain or supervisor in charge. This lack of handover was problematic. Moreover, the function room lobby was uncomfortably hot due to the absence of windows and air conditioning. Additionally, the events staff did not check in on us throughout the event. I understand it was a Sunday, but a quick call to ensure everything was going smoothly would have been appreciated. Despite these issues, the layout we provided was followed correctly, and the hotel kindly lent us a laptop when I had trouble connecting my MacBook. I also appreciated how they adjusted our welcome signage to fit their digital and directional signs. Dinner service was another letdown. Despite informing the hotel that service time was 7:15 pm with plated service for the VIP table, the service was notably slow. The VIP table had not received their main course by the time other guests had started on the buffet, prompting them to join the buffet queue. Drink service was inadequate, with slow water refills and no proactive distribution of the promised round of drinks. To add to the frustration, I discovered that some banquet staff and waiters were taking photos at our photobooth, potentially contributing to the slow service. After a call to the events executive to address these concerns, service improved slightly, with waiters arriving to serve water. I have photos of this but decided not to post it. The food quality was mixed. While the cordon bleu, lechon, and beef burgundy were delicious, other items like the canapés, pumpkin soup, and sweet and sour fish were disappointing. The family suite we stayed in was a highlight: spacious, clean, with air conditioning, two bathrooms, and great views. The bell service was efficient and helpful with our belongings. Don't ever stay on this hotel, I have acquired Acute Gastroenteritis from eating from their restaurant/staying from their hotel. I immediately contacted the hotel after I consulted a Doctor and he later found out that I have Acute Gastroenteritis. I experienced diarrhea, stomach pains, and dizziness. But instead of them apologizing, checking on the conditions and wellness of their guests, they said it was just mere allegation and they resist to reimbursed my medical expenses. They failed to stand up and take accountability for the safety of their guests. They also failed to reimbursed my medical expenses. Don't stay on this hotel that won't take care of you, who will left you behind and will take your concerns for granted. Be better safe than never. This is my first time staying on their hotel and I will never go back again.
