Gîte Nature et Pinceaux

One word sums up the place - beauty! The hosts are the artsy type with good taste. All decors were chosen and arranged carefully. Some rooms have magnificent views of the waters. Very comfortable and spacious rooms. House in the countryside but yet only a short drive to town.

We stayed just one night with Jerome and Laurent at their beautiful home, so conveniently close to Baie St Paul. The room and bathroom were very comfy with a wonderful view over the St Lawrence. Breakfast was delicious, featuring a lovely quiche, yogurt, fruit and granola. Unfortunately, we had to cancel one of the nights we had planned to stay there, but the hosts were most accommodating, and it was no problem to do so. We would have no hesitation to stay there again!! Merci beaucoup Jerome et Laurent!!

Everything about our 4 night stay was perfect .... the incredible view overlooking the St. Lawrence River, the quiet country setting just minutes away from Baie St. Paul, the spacious and comfortable rooms, the beautiful decor. We enjoyed sitting on the deck or in the living room listening to lovely music. And the breakfasts equal a chef's praise!! The presentation, the taste...AMAZING! Every morning the table was set with a different colour palette and dishes. Jerome and Laurent are wonderful hosts - unobtrusively giving their attention to their guests' comfort. There was no problem communicating - between my high school french, Laurent's basic English and sign language it was all good! We all agreed it was one of the best stay experiences ever!

This lovely b&b is truly perfect. It is in a lovely spot close to town but far enough away to be peaceful. It is extremely clean! The room was so spacious ( stayed in the double bed room) and the sheets, pillows etc were very good quality. Sitting on the balcony was an added treat. Jerome and Laurent made us feel very welcome, and the food was prepared and served with care. Highly recommend.

The best gite we've experienced in our years of travel! Outstanding attention to detail, cleanliness, and hospitality. And what a magnificent view from the terrace! Gourmet breakfasts with local ingredients.

The hosts clearly take joy in offering their home, immaculately and lovingly detailed. Their standards of thoughtful hospitality and cleanliness are the highest I have encountered as a seasoned traveller. An artist by profession, I admire their presentation, design and color choices mixed with practicality and friendly personality. Hats off to the owners, whose middle names should be ‘finely curated.’ Marvel at the squeaky clean shower and admire the and the expert use of painters tape on the chair rail, crown molding and refinished chests of drawers. The red carpet must meet a Hepa filter daily if not hourly. Do not hesitate to book this fine establishment of expert hospitality and beautiful breakfast of yogurt parfaits, crustless quiche and brioche French toast.
