Rider Beach

Good breakfast served in the mornings. Service was good, the site was clean and good access to the water (albeit very shallow, not swimmable). Not particularly good value for money. £400 for two nights for family of 3. The “free WiFi” is only at the bar. When you are on holiday, you want to be able to contact family any time of the day. The WiFi meant you are restricted to hanging around the bar all day if you want WiFi. Case in point, I got news my sister was in hospital and couldn’t go to my room to talk to her in private. I had to be in the bar. The third bed in our room was a sofa bed - not necessarily an issue, but rock hard. Car park is at an awkward angle and therefore it is difficult to park next to the reception if you have lots of bags, but plenty of spaces further away.
