Unfortunately, our experience at the hotel was overshadowed by the rude and aggressive behavior of one of the staff members — Clara. We were subjected to unjustified shouting and even threats over a very minor situation. Instead of calmly explaining the rules, Clara reacted with hostility, raising her voice and speaking to us in an intimidating and disrespectful way. What was especially disturbing is that she started threatening us, saying that she would make things worse for us. This kind of behavior is absolutely unacceptable. Even after we raised a complaint, Clara never offered any apology or explanation. Instead, it was other staff members — who listened to our story — who apologized to us. This lack of accountability and professionalism on Clara’s part left a very negative impression. That said, we also want to highlight the positive sides of our stay. The chef, Rafaella, was always friendly, smiling, and kind. Alexander at the reception was professional, helpful, and attentive — we are grateful for his support. And of course, the breathtaking views from the hotel restaurant truly captivated us and, at least for a moment, helped us forget about the unpleasant experience. The scenery is definitely one of the best things about this place.

What a perfect place to meet for a project. The staff is very professional, polite and helpfull. Nice room with a balcony and the food is delicious!!! Cleaning of the hotel is very good. We could swim in the pool and at the beach. We could use the conference room

Had a great time it this hotel the staff were fantastic and the food was great. The only negatives were the French, the majority are rude, obnoxious and have clearly never heard of queuing! Also having to pay extra for things like freshly squeezed orange and fresh coffee, should be part of the all inclusive package surely!! Our room was the older style which was fine, really spacious and clean but the bathroom was a joke and a disaster waiting to happen. U have to hold the shower to wash yourself and the floor is flooded after every shower so it gets really slippery. There are plans to upgrade these rooms which is a must for this hotel. Big thanks to Marie,Nancy and Victoria on reception, Artsi (sorry if this is spelt wrong Guest Relations and our room cleaner Tariq. Fabulous holiday in a beautiful part of Crete. Look out for the steep hills everywhere though.

I had the pleasure of staying at the Atali Grand during my visit October 2024. I had a perfect time, the staff were professional and kind. Eager to help make your stay enjoyable. That was from the front desk to the housekeeping. At the restaurant served great food for breakfast and dinner too, value for money We did venture out to local shops and were so satisfied. The view is incredible from the room to the sea.

After arriving at 1 am to climb half a mountain with kids to a room that was clearly damp mouldy and dirty, the sink unit ripped out exposing wires and holes no curtains no air con in the heat .and a black mouldy shower, we had to then turn around and carry all our things back down to complain. The man was rude laughed on my face and very unhelpful then I realised why...I was one of several people already complaining about the state of the rooms...nearly 2 hours later we were told he could move us to an adequate room for the night which again nothing worked lots of mould wires exposed and held by cellophane to walls..curtains hanging off the windows mould and damp everywhere paint was flaking off the walls shower was black and doors wouldn't lock so at 4 am when we finally put our cases in we didn't sleep all night due to worry of kids being in a separate room with unlockable doors ...next day offered a one bed apartment 1 room instead of 2 which she told us was an upgrade which was not doable having 2 teenagers. So waited another night in said damp room and it was not until I spoke again with manager threatening to complain and sue that they offered us a massage and some food. So now I'm in our lovely room All is better Weather is amazing 😍 scenery is pit of this world loads to do bars are great shame hotel is crap with bad boring food. .

We had a great 4 night stay at Atali Grand before we moved onto other areas of Crete! The room was a bit basic, but modern, clean and comfortable, just needed a couple of updates to make it perfect. We tried all the pools and all had all inclusive bars. The main pool was quite fun if you like music playing and activities. The pool across the road was very relaxed which we liked. We didn't think we would use the waterpark but checked it out one morning and ended up staying the day there as was not too busy and had areas to sunbathe as well as use the slides. We were pleasantly surprised by the food at all meals and really happy with the range and Greek dishes available. The grill area where the pancakes/loukoumades for breakfast or grilled meat, fish and pizzas for lunch/dinner was a great addition. The drinks available on all inclusive does not include all spirits, you could get soft drinks, coffees/teas, ouzo/raki/brandy/mastika, beers and wines, which was fine for us. I had read not to go if English due to the French entertainment but this didn't bother us as we don't often attend hotel entertainment on holidays. However the French speaking entertainment staff were very friendly, inclusive and also spoke in English. We went to a couple of the evening entertainments and it was quite fun. The hotel was in a great location just a short walk to local shops, bars and tavernas. The bars on the beachfront are really nice if fancy a change. Close by to the little train stop which takes you round Bali and to the bus stop.
