Kidem Ubud Villas

Nice place, next to rice fields. But the only closet for clothes is squeezed in the toilet in a small, narrow corner, the closet doors could be opened, but it was almost impossible to get things from there, so we did not even unpack our things. Towels were changed once in 3 days. The smell of the toilet came into the room. The staff is friendly.

This place is a fantastic adventure, it is back up the hillside among the rice fields and forest. The staff collected us and our bags on scooters and zipped us up the narrow pathway from the main town, the walk is about 12-15 mins. The rooms are wooden cabin type experience with full private bathroom and veranda. You will be close to nature, the sounds will echoe all day and night and you will see lizards and frogs and the occasional four legged intruder. The best part of this place is the owners and staff! They cannot do enough for you. Breakfast made to order every morning included in the price. Special tea and coffee any time of the day. If you don't fancy the walk up the hill after a day out, simply WhatsApp the owner and they'll come get you on the scooter. They filled our fridge with soft drinks and beers and only charged cost price for them, very decent, honest and hard working people.

We spent a week at Kidem Ubud Villas, and it was perfect from start to finish. Rooms - gorgeous. Surroundings - heavenly. People - phenomenal! Nothing is too much trouble for Kidem and his team, from the tea/coffee on demand through to a free home-cooked dinner and offers of lifts, even dropping us in town at 02:30 and 04:30 so we could go on day trips. I've never experienced hospitality like this anywhere else in the world ❤️ We also had the honour of seeing Kidem perform in the Kecak dance at Pura Dalem - highly recommended, and much better than the dance at Uluwatu! Thank you Kidem and Wayan for making our week in Ubud so memorable, we hope to return one day and will definitely stay in your villas again 🙏

Kidem Ubud Villas is gelegen buiten het drukke centrum van Ubud. Je geraakt er niet met de wagen maar gastheer Kidem brengt je naar de hoofdweg wanneer je wil. Kidem doet alles voor zijn gasten! Je kan gerust je uitstappen met hem plannen. Hij serveert je regelmatig super lekkere thee en verzorgt iedere ochtend een heerlijk ontbijt. We hebben geweldig goed geslapen in de villa, gelegen tussen de rijstvelden. De natuurlijke geluiden moet je er bij nemen! Als we ooit terugkomen naar Ubud, gaan we zeker terug naar Kidem! He’s the best!

Bellissimo alloggio nel cuore delle risaie a Ubud, comodo a tutti servizi, Kidem e sua moglie sono persone fantastiche gentilissime ed accoglienti, ho soggiornato per una settimana intera e mi sono sentito in famiglia consiglio sicuramente questo luogo lontano da macchine e traffico per vivere una vacanza indimenticabile nello spettacolare scenario della natura che offre Bali

Die Unterkunft mitten in den Reisfeldern ist einfach nur atemberaubend. Die Anlage, die Hütten, Bad,.. sind äußerst sauber. Hier entkommt man perfekt dem ganzem Trubel und kann einfach nur entspannen. Wayah und Kidem sind die perfekten Hosts und so lieb und hilfsbereit. Jeden Tag bekamen wir ein sehr leckeres Frühstück, Tee, Säfte,.. alles war mit so viel Liebe zubereitet. Eines der schönsten Unterkünfte unserer Bali-Reise und auf jeden Fall empfehlenswert!!!
