Unfortunately I do not have all good things to say about Sari Bungalows. Room was small and comfortable although not very clean even by Bali standards (not sure when the bath mats were last changed), location was great, staff were very lovely. But returning to our room at 9pm to no water coming from taps at all was not ideal, they were unable to fix it, told us to wait 15 minutes and try again. 1.5hrs later we had water for about 5 minutes, just enough time for a joint shower, then gone again. Pool Area was very uninviting dirty, muddy patches and a broken umbrella. But as the saying goes you get what you pay for, so if all you want is some where it sleep, with no expectation of anything else you won't be disappointed.

Avoid. This place is run by charlatans. They don’t respond to requests, communications or inquiries. We booked through a big website which somehow got the wrong month on the booking. It was spotted instantly and so we requested a change to the error, now Sari Bungalow via the site are insisting that our incorrect booking - not our fault - will be charged full price even though we are not in Ubud or even Bali at that time. Really disappointing that they can’t correct the mistake and instead choose to steal or money. Poor form indeed!
