Atalaya Villas Nusa Penida - Adults only

We submitted request to change reservation date because we are expecting a typhoon, which would affect our arrival date. We note that there is still room available on the dates we want to change to, but the hotel has ruthlessly rejected our request. Not nice gesture.

The villa we stayed at was cozy, the bed was great, the shower was modern and clean, and the inner yard had a lovely (sunrise!) view of the mountains and the ocean at the horizon. All food and cocktails were delicious and made from fresh ingredients. Whenever you are at the hotel, be sure to ask for a "floating breakfast", it is amazing and truly one of a kind. Menu itslef is not long but well thought-of. The central pool at the hotel is a great selfie point and a place to sunbathe and have a drink. The place is quiet and is perfect for romantic getaway. Overall, a lovely experience and a place you would like to come back to.

I can’t thank the staff enough for making my birthday celebration so special. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that this place is something unique. My girlfriend had planned a surprise for me, and the team went above and beyond to help her organize a birthday cake, a heartfelt letter, stunning bed decorations, and a romantic dinner in our private villa. The attention to detail was incredible, and the food was absolutely delicious. We also indulged in a relaxing massage right in our villa – a perfect way to unwind while enjoying the serene surroundings. To top it off, we had the most amazing floating breakfast one morning—such a fun and beautiful way to start the day while soaking in the stunning views. As someone who works in the hospitality industry, I truly appreciated the dedication of the owner, Raul. I had the pleasure of meeting him upon arrival, and it was evident that he takes great care of his team, the property, and every little detail that makes this place so remarkable. The views here are simply breathtaking—pictures don’t do them justice. If you’re lucky enough to witness a sunset, it will be one of the highlights of your trip. And for those who need reliable internet, the Wi-Fi is fast and reliable thanks to Starlink! We will definitely be returning and recommending this hidden gem to others. Spectacular villa with private pool and fantastic view, the food at the restaurant was the best we had during our month in Bali and Indonesia. I loved eating breakfast watching the birds in the jungle below. Staff was friendly, helpful and kind. The hotel was spotless and in excellent condition, but Nusa Penida overall was filthy in the water, on beaches, in the air, in jungle and villages. So considering all the fees charged to visit beaches, toilets, viewpoints, the port, etc sadly they are taking money $$$ without investing into the future of the islanders eg poor roads, no parking, no sidewalk, no toilets after paying to enter, no garbage cans…

An absolute gem tucked away on a cliff. Beyond beautiful! Breathtaking views of the tropical landscape. Rooms are super pretty and done tastefully. The Food as Amazing too! We had a last minute change in travel plans and they were able to accommodate us…so lucky! Will definitely return.

Hands down the best place to stay in Nusa Penida! My boyfriend and I had a very quick check in and then we were taken to the bar for delicious welcome drinks before be taken to our room. The rooms are stunning, so beautifully designed and maintained, you will want to take pictures of everything inside. The big infinity pool is wonderful to lounge around and have cocktails and enjoy the sun. We then upgraded to a private pool villa and these are the most beautiful villas I have ever seen! You get your own private decking and infinity pool and it is stunning. We also rented a scooter from the hotel so we could explore the island, I really recommend doing this, the scooters are in great condition and are really good value for money. We enjoyed massages in the evening which were throughly relaxing. The bar/restaurant in the hotel serves amazing drinks and food the menu had many options that were all delicious. What made our stay so amazing was the people a huge thank you to April and Diana at Reception, Poli, Kadek, Gede, Tobi, Patok, Dika and Agus in the Restaurant, Arta, Juni, Wayan and Ketut in Housekeeping and to the Owners of the property Raul and Made. You all made our stay so memorable, we will be back!
