Their hotel having 2 pools, Feel warmly welcome by their staff and they knew this is my first time to bali to celebrate my honey moon, then they prepare bathtub full of flower, i did enjoyed it very much! Just the place is quiet, and you can enjoy your own sweet time

We had a present stay at Villa Sonia overall, although the place is a bit dated requiring some upgrade everywhere. One thing should pay attention to is about transportation. We booked a car to go to Villa Sonia. However, the driver took us to a different Villa Sonia (Bisma). It was located at a total different place. It took us another 40mins to get back to Villa Sonia Ubud. Just need to be careful about that.

I stayed at Villa Sonia Ubud for 2 nights and found it fairly easy to find food around the area. It was a short walk to monkey forest street. The staff are lovely, they even come and help with mosquito prevention in the evening. They are always smiling and will assist in any way they can. The 2 pools are ideal as the smaller one (some rooms overlook) was quieter and more relaxing.

Staffs are all very nice and friendly. Breakfast provided tastes great, they provide Indonesian food, juice and coffee. Spa and massage services are cheap but the quality is good! Highly recommend this place if you go to Bail!

Excellent value for the price we pay for. Got a private garden but it is quite open in general. Good breakfast. Got quite a few stairs to get to your room though.

This was my favorite place. The breakfast was good, the pools are big, the staff was amazing and the food was everything! I would definitely go back although I’m scared of lizards which were everywhere😝.

This place was heaven on earth. It has the loveliest and helpful staff. The food was flavorful and portion size was generous. Location was accessible to many surrounding activities . The pool was a true highlight and the temperature and depth was amazing . Absolutely loved our stay at the villa , it was beautiful and incredibly private . Would definitely book again on my next visit to Ubud and recommend them to everyone

This hotel was nothing short of perfect! The food, the location, the staff, the rooms! They were all amazing. I was so impressed with everything the hotel had to offer. I was treated so well and I felt like I had a first class experience. I would highly recommend this to anyone traveling to ubud.

Great service and rooms. Facilities are well maintained as well. Breakfast selection is small but sufficient there is also a onsite staff deli will help you cook eggs to order. 👍🏻 Overall great stay, no hiccups, would stay at villa donuts again. Close drive to quite a few tourist attractions and food streets as well!

Excellent!! Every thing is excellent. Just they need to change the take away breakfast menu. It is very poor, contains only bread butter jam with boiled eggs. :(

This is a very nice hotel, however the location is a bit tricky. It is close to the centre of the town, but you have to go through a shortcut in the middle of the forest where there are many monkeys and at night there is practically no light. The hotel itself is quite nice, but the room and decoration a bit dated. The view was stunning and the pool was really nice. The breakfast was very rudimentary, but just fine for a couple of days. Depending on where you want to go, you might have to walk for at least 20 to 30 minutes to reach the most popular area in Ubud. However, there are quite a few sites to visit without having to spend too much time on a car.

Trip.com Review Villa Sonia This place is a 100/10!! The resort is a gorgeous, relaxing escape conveniently located near the cultural offerings of Ubud. It has a traditional feel in a tropical oasis with the kindest staff and best breakfast. The perfect couples retreat! ⁃ We are convinced we stayed in the best room in the entire resort #02. It’s listed under the traditional Balinese room with garden view. The private balcony and view that opened up directly from the bed were absolutely stunning. The mornings were filled with beautiful bird songs and one day we even got a visit from the monkeys. At night we could gently hear some soothing live acoustic music from across the street. It created the perfect ambiance for every time of day. ⁃ Note that the bed is a “king” - it’s two twins pushed together as listed- so there is a slight line down the middle where the beds meet, but don’t let that deter you- it’s still very comfortable ⁃ a hidden gem is the bathroom mirror which is still actually a window that opens up to the back mango trees ⁃ The free breakfast is so tasty and fulfilling. It is a buffet style offering many selections of traditional Balinese hot breakfast foods- mostly vegetarian options. As well as fresh juices, fresh fruit, and some yummy sweets. They even offer a station to have whatever egg/omelette you’d like prepared on the spot. ⁃ The entire resort is filled with tropical trees and plants, and there are two refreshing and relaxing pools ⁃ The resort is conveniently located steps away from the Monkey Forest - *there is a back alley route, and sits on a street with plenty of restaurants, local shops offering all the tours, and even a grocery/convenience store. We highly recommend! You will love your stay!

A nice stay in a beautiful hotel. A little old but still nice. Staf was very kind.
