Unfortunately it was overall a pretty bad experience. The hotel is quite dirty, but the worst was definitely the curtains in the room. The pools had mud stuck to the walls and there were always leaves inside. The bathroom of the room was outdoors, which works terribly with rain. The service was very inattentive as well: we booked a pretty expensive Nusa Penida tour with them, and the driver didn’t say a single word the entire time, didn’t speak English and didn’t even tell us where we were going. We explained this to reception and they didn’t do anything about it, they didn’t even mention it or apologise when we paid (the entire amount) at checkout. Overall I think the lack of attention towards guests really shows and to me that’s the reason why it was a bad experience. Staff was always on their phone, didn’t pay attention to the guests’ needs, everything was always messy, it just didn’t show any professionalism at all. Very disappointing.
