Amed Harmony Bungalows and Villas

Very nice bungalows: clean & quiet, a pool & a lot of trees around it. In the room you can find all nessesary things: 2 sets of towels, shampoo & bath gel, kettle with teacups + instant coffee and tea. Good WiFi & hot shower. When I stayed, they brought breakfast to your table in front of your bungalo. Breakfast was not big, but ok. (You choose 1 out of 4)

Worst hotel ever! Dirty! Bad breakfast

A well laid out relaxed resort on the much less frantic east Bali coast. Nice bungalows. I had the garden bungalow which was lovely and quirky with a stunning bathroom full of curated design details, like handcrafted tiles. Great outdoor restaurant, especially beautifully lit at night with mosquito cones to make dining more comfortable. I moved into a deluxe bungalow at the back of the resort for a night before settling into a third bungalow by the pool to accommodate my extended stay. It’s quite popular! I was disappointed with the deluxe one: too hemmed in and dark, inside was fine. One thing to note: you need transport out here if you want to get around. Few taxis. This is a nicely designed place for a holiday.

We really weren’t expecting what we came across with this place. On our arrival we were walked through the amazing garden to our accomodation which exceeded our expectations. The villa was a large bedroom with open air style bathroom and a large living/kitchen/lounge area on a single level. To our surprise we also had a roof top dining area with a Balinese style roof shade over the large dining table. This roof top gave amazing views to the steep and beautiful mountains and a great view of the large pool that was shared by only one other room. The accommodation however was only the beginning. When we ate at the restaurant, which is at the front of the property, my taste buds were blown away. The chef and owner Anis make traditional Balinese with food with plants and trees that are growing around the property. She also does a cooking school which we attended and again this did not fail to impress. The food really is some of the best food I have ever tasted with Sambals ground by hand( no food processor here) and two of the nights a whole suckling pig was cooked over coconut husk charcoal. Simply superb! Also my wife is gluten free. This turned out not to be the problem it normally is because wheat has never really entered the diet of people up here. Everything was wheat free. Outstanding. And to top it all off the staff were super friendly , helpful and really cared for us. Top job!

Magnificent outdoor setting, one of the best in Amed. The restaurant has two bars, one a converted fishing boat and the greenery is exquisite. A big assortment of alcoholic drinks. The staff are friendly and obliging, the chicken meal is particularly large and delish. While they can do satay chicken, their specialty is seafood, they also have a good cooking class and a proper coffee machine making cappuccinos. The prices are competitive. Highly recommended.

Good afternoon. We visited this hotel again and were very happy. The hotel just got prettier! The villa was the best we have seen in Amed. Comfortable and very beautiful furniture, kitchen, beautiful interior. Villa is the best!!! The hotel has large gardens and various trees and flowers, fruits. Delicious food and attentive staff. Thanks to Anis, the hostess of the hotel, that there is such a great place to stay. We will be happy to come again. With much love, Natalie and Alex.
