The Pari Sudha recensioner

The room is really good, and I have a semi-exclusive small pool for a nice dip while appreciating nature! Staff are very nice and accommodating. I checked-in around 2am! Altho it is accessible via many kinds of transpo, but you need to walk a bit from the road. This is not inconvenient, except if you are walking from a night. But overall, this place is worth its price.

The location was amazing one can stay for a week there only the thing is they don’t provide dinner there and don’t have almirah to fix your things other than that beautiful 🥰

The location is slightly off from the centre but you get the tranquility in return. I would say the overall experience of my stay in this hotel is great however the toilet is due upgrade/renovate. The rest are fine! Recommended!

Hotel is comfortable and nice viewn in only restaurant area. Food choice not good. They always recommend only nasi goreng which is fried rice

We would like to thank the whole hotel staff for help us to feel comfortable at The Pari Sudha. This is our first time in Bali and we are very happy to start our vacation in such amazing place. Location is a little far from the center , you should take a taxi or grab bike to get to restaurants or temples. But the view and calm atmosphere deserve it . 🤗🤗🤗 Leaving this hotel we felt like we leave family , was very sad and we hope to back here again next time . ♥️♥️♥️♥️

It was really nice overall! Even though there was little issue with electricity but they solved it right away! I love how they tried to help us as soon as possible! It was the best hotel I stayed in Bali:) Also the breakfast was so yummy! Pool was so clean and nice as well! Washroom was clean as well and shampoo/bodywash scent was so nice! I love everything about here I would deff come here again if I’m visiting Ubud again! If you are debating and reading this review, just book it:) you can feel like the location is bit far from the centre but you can just take gojek ride which is really cheap because it’s just 10mins away from the centre usually! Thank you!!

The location is great. The surrounding nature is beautiful. You're in the middle of the jungle. You can see various lizards, but you can not avoid it in Ubud. They are certainly not dangerous. The breakfast was very nice as well. All employees are very friendly. You can also rent a scooter and go on a tour wherever you want. The only drawback is that the woodwork in the bathroom is old and needs to be renovated, but the rooms are clean.

The best part of my stay was definitely the staff — every team member I interacted with was warm, helpful, and genuinely kind. Their service really stood out and made a positive difference. That said, the overall experience had several issues that need improvement. Upon arrival, there was no one at the entrance — only an intercom to call for assistance. It was lightly raining, and the path was slippery with moss. Despite walking carefully, I still slipped and scraped my arm badly. The walkway is quite narrow, very dark at night, and during rainy weather, it feels quite unsafe. After check-in, I had to climb a steep and narrow staircase to reach my room. If I had been traveling with elderly people or anyone with mobility issues, it would have been extremely challenging and even dangerous. Another major issue was the electrical system. The room couldn’t handle a hairdryer at all — every time I tried to use it, the power tripped. I had 4–5 blackouts in one night and eventually gave up and let my hair air-dry. In summary, the staff are amazing, but the hotel really needs to improve its pathways, lighting, and electrical system for a more comfortable and safe stay.

Stayed here for 3 nights. Excellent pool, clean and not too deep. Breakfast is limited to choice and you have to tell the reception1 day in advance what you want. Staff was wonderful and helpful. Room was small but cosy, bathroom was great. We had the chance to check in at 12pm leave our luggage and go for the daily tour. Really enjoyed our stay here.

Stayed here for two nights and this place is amazing! My main purpose of visiting Ubud is to experience the nature and this is exactly what I get at this villa as it is surrounded by nature. I purposely opt for 'Holly Retreat Room' because I know it comes with a private pool just in front of our room (though shared with another room beside us). There will be a 5-10mins walk from the 'entrance reception' to the room. It's just a small alley and no vehicle is able to access it. The hospitality is SUPERB! Staffs were very helpful and accommodating. There were couple of times when it was raining heavily and the walking alley from the entrance to our room is not covered. So we just contacted the hotel staff and they will come bringing umbrella + escort you. They also helped to carry our luggage, bring food that we ordered from Grab from the entrance to our room (because it was raining) and bring anything that we need upon request. The only downside are, there is limited power plugs and there's only one mirror in the room which is in the toilet. A bit challenging for a woman to get ready :D Anyhow, I had a good time at this place and would recommend others to come and experience it :)

However, there are a few logistical points future visitors should know to set expectations. Accessibility Getting to the hotel can be a bit challenging. The property is not located directly on the main road, and you'll need to navigate a narrow 150ish meter alley on foot or by scooter. When we arrived at the Google Maps pin for The Pari Sudha, we found a small "reception" desk with no staff present. After calling the hotel, they promptly sent someone to pick us up and assist with our luggage, which was greatly appreciated. However, it would have been much more convenient if this information were shared in advance to avoid confusion. The Property Once you settle in, The Pari Sudha reveals its true beauty. The design is charming and blends seamlessly with the surrounding lush greenery. The pool in front of the forest adds a serene touch, offering sightings of squirrels and other wildlife, making it a peaceful retreat. We opted for the floating breakfast, which, while pricey due to the additional charge for the basket, was a unique experience. Our room came with a private pool just a few steps away. Although small, it was beautifully designed and added to the sense of luxury. This hotel is perfect for those seeking tranquility and a break from the bustling city life. Dining Options The hotel only serves breakfast. For other meals, there are plenty of good restaurants within walking distance, and food delivery options are readily available in Ubud. Be prepared to venture out for lunch or dinner as needed. Nearby Attractions The property also includes a temple on the lower ground, about a 10-minute walk away. Unfortunately, it is not well-maintained, so I’d recommend skipping it to save yourself the hassle. Hospitality The staff were consistently hospitable and accommodating. Their warmth added to the overall positive experience. I hope the property continues to be well-maintained so it can retain its charm for future guests. Final Thoughts Despite the initial challenges of locating and accessing the hotel, my stay at The Pari Sudha was memorable and relaxing. For those looking to unwind amidst nature and experience a quieter side of Ubud, this hotel is an excellent choice.

Friendly, respectful, helpful & courteous staff. I recommend staying here. There are stairs to some of the rooms. Great pool areas & surrounded in bush 👌🏽👍🏼🌻
