Adventurous and want great scenery with of the beach and waves? Try it out! Just be mindful of the number of steps you have to trek but definitely worth it!

We were absolutly not happy, no maintenance on the property, our shower had only couple of drops, not enough to rinse ourself, the floor drain was stuck, the toiler tank took 30mins to fill up, the mosquito net over the bed had disgusting yellow stains. For the price we paid, they should give a minimum of standards. We will not come back anymore

Fabulous location once you are there. Yes there are a lot of steps to get there, whilst you are there and if you want to go anywhere but it adds to the charm as well as the sweat. We were in room 6 which was spacious, clean with great views back to Main Break and baby Padang and the beginning section of Impossibles. The bathroom was very large and outdoors but clean and functional. Food at the resort was good and Dream sea is right next door but they do give priority to their own guests. You are right on top of the surf so if the tides are high at night it can be very noisy from the waves but we are used to that so didn't really worry us. The monkeys are a pain so don;t leave anything outside. They ransacked by toiletry bag ( my fault for leaving outside ) and bizarrely they stole my fin bag with a number of fins, tools and ding repair kit so don't leave anything outside and make sure doors are locked. They normally come after lunch. The babies are cute but the larger males can be quite intimidating. I think some people forget that they are in Indonesia when writing reviews as it is pretty difficult to get anything dry ever and there is always a pervading aroma of dankness and drains even when you are in the large 5 star places. If you love surfing or watching surfing then you would struggle to get a better position anywhere on the Bukit. We had a good swell kick in when we were there and it was amazing watching people getting double overhead barrels at Padang from our deck.
