This hotel is really enjoyable with a great scenery , two lovely swimming pool, and a fabulous team taking good care of you. Needless to say the food is really good and the room very big for a couple. You are surrounded by rice field and the time for relaxing is just there

Serene location and very relaxing - from the amazing massages to the caring owners and staff, you will want to stay forever! The rooms are huge, extremely comfortable and beautifully appointed. The restaurant food is delicious. Overall, highly recommended. (And we own our own 5-star hotel in Bali, so I feel that we are good judges.)

We stayed at this lovely hotel for 2 nights on our trip to Bali.The hotel is amazing--we had a top floor room with amazing views over the surrounding countryside and lovely and peaceful too.There are 2 infinity pools which are great for relaxing in after a days sightseeing.The food in the restaurant is really good however there are many local warungs and restaurants within easy walking distance of the hotel. HIGHLY recommended!

A very unique and wonderful luxury hotel. You feel integrated with nature in the most peaceful way. The staff were lovely, the service was amazing and the food was delicious. A great place to switch off from the outside world.

Not just a hotel but an amazing experience ! We stayed 6 nights in Surya Shanti, the owners are just amazing, always here to assist in many ways, suggest visits and organize activities, the staff is so friendly and caring. Superb views on the rice fields and the surrounding mountains including Mount Agoun. Yoga, cooking lessons, trekking, rafting, diving in Amed an hour away, and more … Amazing cocktails 😄 and good restaurant above the rice fields Will be back !

After 2 weeks touring through Bali I finally could enjoy some relaxation time in this amazing location. I was staying in a superb room (Agung 1) with spectacular views on all sides. Huge room with an gigantesque open bathroom (with bathtub and separate shower). Large patio to enjoy the stunning views. The French owners have created a unique style of hotel built on a hill (different levels, different types of rooms) will a lot of taste and assuring a lot of privacy. The hotel has 2 beautiful pools and a unique location for having massages by the river. There are many areas to relax and enjoy the incredible beauty of this hotel. Views of the rice fields & the lush and very well maintained garden. I thoroughly enjoy the dinners I had in the restaurant. Delicious dishes (with French touch) and I liked the really nice arak cocktails 😉. Big choice for breakfast. Even when it rains (it happened while I was here m, even if rare for July) there are many things to do. For example, I went to a local artisan making silver rings, as per you wish (I highly recommend him - Sidemen Silver). From the hotel you are close to Tirta Gangga (Water Palace) as well as to the famous “Gate of Heaven”. By staying in Sidemen you can avoid the long queues for taking THE picture, as closer to the location. The hotel can arrange any excursions you want and they use very good/reliable guides & drivers. Visiting Sidemen district and staying at Suruya Shanti should be on your list of things to do while in Bali and for sure I will be back.
