Lovely place and lovely people! I booked a second night because this places is simply amazing!

Отличное расположение, тихая улица. Из минусов - поздний и однообразный завтрак, не очень чисто в номере, не очень чистый бассейн. Одну ночь прилетала летучая мышь и скреблась по крыше. Если просто переночевать, то пойдет

Смешанные эмоции. Останавливались на 2 дня, и в при заселении было обнаружено, что в номере нет вводы. Менеджер сказал, что проблема будет решена в течение часа. При том, что staff предлагал помыться у бассейна, где душ на улице у всех на виду. Спустя пару часов, менеджер пришел и сказал, что все хорошо, настроил воду(она лилась черная, засорились все трубки и х пришлось промывать). После этого мы пошли ужинать и решили помыться перед сном. У жены было день рождению на следующий день. Также попросили убрать номер, и заменить полотенца, потому что, в ходе настройки вводы все стало грязным. Прийдя с ужина, мы спросили, все ли хорошо и нам ответили, да. Прийдя в номер, обнаружили, что снова нет воды. Это сильно расстроило и мы пошли узнавать ситуацию на ресепшен, где сидели девушки и пытались сгладить ситуацию. Позвонив менеджеру мы объяснили, что не приемлемо жить в номере весь день, где нет воды, ты даже не можешь сходить в туалет, потому что не чем смыть. Staff опять отличился и предложил 1,5 литровую бутылку воды для смыва. Поршуавшись мы попросили снять нам другой отель. Время было 23:00. Staff сказали, что обзвонили все вокруг и номеров нет. Мы предложили снять отель, в котором жили прошлые 2 суток. Оказалось есть номер на 1 ночь. И мы договорились, что переночуем в нем, а на следующие сутки вернемся. Так и случилось! На следующий день проблема с водой решилась. Что касается номера Honemoon suite, в нем было сыро, так что кондиционер не требовался и вещи стали мокрыми. Завтрак стандартный. Персонал, в целом молодцы, кроме менеджера. Я понимаю, что проблема касалась всего отеля, но зачем селить людей, когда нет воды в номере, зачем говорить, что все хорошо, и затем мы обнаруживаем, что воды а номере нет (1 раз после бранча, 2 раз после ужина). Жена несколько раз говорила, что у нее день рождения, что будет фотосессия на следующий дающий день, и нужны чистые волосы и тд и это невозможно сделать без воды. Менеджер обещал все урегулировать, но в итоге не смог. И в один момент сказал, окей, простите за ситуацию, с меня тортик на следующий день. Смешно, но даже тут он ничего не сделал. Поэтому в целом, отель не понравился, номер тоже, staff старался, но у них было и мало ресурсов для этого. Хотя они сняли номер переночевать в другом отеле. Тут ложка меда, в бочке дегтя.

Нужен ремонт,номера подуставшие.

Such a quiet and tranquil spot good location with everything in walking distance, great pool, good breakfast, large room & bed and bathroom, would definitely stay here again. Friendly staff who are happy to organise washing, transport etc

A quiet tropical getaway on a less crowded street in busy Ubud. The poolview from the restaurant is perfect. We had some unwanted visitors in our room a couple of times , but from what I gather that is Bali for you. :) The staff is exceptionally nice and helpful.

Tropical paradise on a budget. Pool and Restaurant are A+. Food was Delicious and Good price. Perfect location. Beware the mosquitos at night. Bring some mozzie coils. Easy parking down the long driveway. Just a few small things like light bu lbs need changing and air con would stop working after 30 minutes, had to switch on and off to power it back up. But these are common occurrences in Bali accomodation from my experience. Overall I was happy with the accomodation.

Amazing stay. Gardens and pool area was stunning. Daily breakfast looking over the pool, garden and complimentary yoga twice a week by the pool was amazing! Staff were lovely and helpful. Very relaxing. Loved our stay here and would come again!

I just spent 3 nights at Desak Putera Cottages, and they were wonderful. The cottages are located in the center of Ubud, but they are completely surrounded by a beautiful forest, so it feels as though you are in the country. The staff were wonderful, the price was excellent, the bedroom was large, clean and beautiful, the bed was comfortable, and my balcony overlooked the forest. (Plus the room had air conditioning.) I also enjoyed eating breakfast every day in the open air restaurant while watching birds and butterflies flit through the beautiful trees and flowers. One of the best things, though, is that the staff arranged for a driver to pick me up at the airport and bring me to the hotel, and he was wonderful! I ended up spending 3 days with him, and he took me to many different places that were part of the real Bali, not just a tourist trap. Plus his prices were really reasonable. (Half the cost of a day tour I signed up for on Trip Advisor and far superior.) His name is Wa Pk Dewa Taman (or Mr. Garden), and I highly recommend him.

My wife and I stayed 5 nights in a Superior Garden View room at the Cottages, having also spent time there on previous holidays. Pros: - Good location 15 min or so walk to Monkey Forest and several restaurants and warungs close by. - lovely jungle like setting - relatively quiet apart from the odd rooster call and dog barking - nice spacious room with good airconditioning and cold fridge (see con below) - tasty a la carte breakfast. A good way to kick start the day - dining area was spacious and had a great outlook to the "jungle" - so relaxing first thing in the morning - nice pool with beautiful garden surrounds - last, but foremost, lovely, friendly, helpful, staff. Cons: - Unless you are reasonably fit the many steps (approx 60 from pool to reception) could be a struggle, although we are in our 70's and managed ok. - the bathroom, like many in Bali, looked like it could have benefitted from a good scrub - the shower screen in particular. - the fridge kept defrosting leaving a pool of water in the bottom - No instructions on how to operate TV. We had to get staff to explain (operated through another device) and then couldn't get actual TV, only YouTube, which didnt work all that well due to internet speeds.
