Well worth get away with friends in the middle of Canggu, one of the busiest region in Bali. The 2 night stay was well worth it for a short trip to refresh and relax away from my routine. Huge props to Tulus and Rani, who take cares of us and offer anticipation needs during our trip.

This is a wonderful hotel that is not the standard Bali holiday experience. The hotel is set in beautiful grounds, with a lovely pool and a very special atmosphere. It almost feels as if you are staying in a secret Balinese palace! We stayed in a villa (with a private pool) which was very spacious, clean and comfortable, The breakfast was extremely good and all the staff who looked after us were exceptionally friendly, kind and eager to help. WORTH KNOWING The Plataran is located in a side street in Canggu away from the beach. There is not much close by that you can walk to which threw us at first but please bear in mind two things. Firstly, the hotel offers free rides into nearby Seminyak which had good shopping, a nice range of cafes, a lovely beach and great seafront restaurants (try Seasalt as a treat). Tanah Lot Temple is also not too far away and worth a visit especially if you stay for the fire dance. Secondly, perhaps change your mindset from a normal Bali beach holiday. We really enjoyed unwinding at the hotel. We had a lovely massage from the onsite therapist and did a great cooking course with the head chef. All this made our trip very special. So take the time to enjoy what the Plataran uniquely offers.

After staying at two other Resorts this was my favorite. The rooms were very quiet and tranquil. I had a private pool and my villa was incredible. The staff is extremely attentive. They offer free breakfast delivered to your room and the breakfast is delicious. They also offer afternoon tea at no charge. I can't say enough good things about this Resort and I'm definitely coming back. Trisna was a standout employee. She was very helpful and very attentive to all my needs. I also want to mention Sam. I almost left leaving my passport in the safe and he reminded me.

Best hotel ever, we were here for our honeymoon, we had booked a villa, and was uppgraded with the private pool, the place was amazing, the Staff and the service was top top topwe will come back for sure, this is our best place to stay so far

The place is simply amazing! We wanted to stay somewhere off the beaten track, with a bit of romance, ability to relax and a touch of luxury. This place offered everything. From superior, friendly staff to sensational service, great food (quality and options), movie night on the lawn with a cocktail bar and food "vendors" to finishing off with a relaxing massage - this place was awesome. This is before we mention the room we had. Private pool, spacious room and deck with two sunbeds. It was a bit novel locking the door to our villa with a padlock though but hey, this is how they did it. While not on the main beaches, a quick cab ride to all the main centres - Canggu, Seminyak, Ubud and Denpasar. We will definitely be back for our next Bali adventure.

We visited Plataran Canggu for.our 25th wedding anniversary and my husband's birthday. As it was December it was wet season which meant the resort was very quiet. From our check in to our check out the staff were helpful, friendly and full of surprises. They made both our celebration days special with extra touches in the room and a birthday cake for my husband. It.was truly a relaxing holiday. The villa was amazing and this is definitely an Oasis away from the hustle and bustle of Canggu. Thank you so much!

This place holds a special place in our hearts, as it was where we had our wedding and reception. Every visit to a Plataran property brings back cherished memories, and we always look forward to returning whenever we get the chance. As expected, the service was exceptional. From the hotel manager to every staff member, everyone was incredibly kind and attentive, making us feel truly cared for. We especially loved the convenience of the private pool, which added to our relaxing experience. While the breakfast was great, it could have been a bit better. However, we understand that this may have been due to the low-season period during our stay.

Plataran kindly upgraded our room to celebrate our honeymoon!! We thoroughly enjoyed our private pool - especially to enjoy our floating breakfast. The staff were always on hand and offered great information about Balinese traditions. We enjoyed a Balinese cocktail class at the bar.

After our outstanding experience at Plataran Ubud and Plataran Menjangan we were excited to discover how this outstanding hotel group could surprise us. Every Plataran hotel is designed to complement its surroundings and to offer a different experience to its hotel customers. We were not disappointed. On arrival we were greeted by the now customary cool towel to clean our hands and face and warm smiles. We were taken to our hotel villa. On arrival we were shown to a beautiful traditional wooden door into a walled garden with a private pool. We couldn’t believe we had our own private courtyard. The door to the room slid open to reveal a large twin bed again draped in floaty mosquito nets. The room was very spacious with tea and coffee provided. A large TV which is available in all the hotel complexes. The bathroom was amazing situated outside of the room in its own spacious outdoor space. The bathroom was, as always, spotless. The shower was good. The private pool outside was clean and we had a terrace with table and chairs and a large daybed for lounging with two pool loungers. The hotel complex had two additional large pools. As with all the hotels the food was outstanding and the restaurant staff and reception were fabulous and so friendly and helpful. Plataran Canggu is located in Canggu but it is quiet and tropical. The landscaping of the grounds is beautiful with tropical plants and jungle areas. Pathways lead to hidden gems and private doors to hidden courtyards. Our experience at Plataran Canggu was different to our experiences at the other Plataran hotels. This time we learnt Balinese cooking under the tutelage of our fantastic lovely chef Wayan Parsana. And Balinese dance and music with great patience under the tutelage of our fabulous teacher Tulus. An expert dancer and musician. Our spa massage experience here was also fabulous. Thank you to the spa team. The hotel is also situated near Seminyak and Canggu central for shopping and the hotel provided a taxi service to take us to different places and we needed to book to come back, which was easy using the app grab.
