Aryaswara Villa Ubud recensioner

We stayed as a family of 4 for 7 nights in January. We booked two rooms, one downstairs, one upstairs, off the foyer to the right when looking out to the garden. This worked really well. Our teenage daughters upstairs, my husband and I downstairs. Firstly, it is impossible to take a bad photo of this place, it is just gorgeous. The foyer is spectacular. The gardens, pool, fish pond, temple and villas all combine to make you feel like you are in your own little oasis. Very intimate setting, very special. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. We had afternoon tea each day as part of our package which was so lovely to have on one of our patios, balcony or by the pool. Breakfast each day, also part of our package was ample. Main dish, plus fruit platter, toast, juice, tea/coffee. We also ordered one dinner and one lunch in house and they were great. One night we had dinner in the warong of the sister hotel. It was raining, so staff drove us there. The meal was great and the setting lovely. Overall Aryaswara was great value for money and a beautiful relaxing experience. The only negatives would be the distance from the centre of Ubud. They do provide shuttles free of charge, but we found the times often didn't suit us. You can pay to be taken in or picked up outside of th scheduled shuttle times and taxis/drivers are easy to get. Hotel shuttle approx $12 AUD each way and taxi/driver $10.
