An Adults Only retreat Surrounded by 10 acres of lovely gardens, Balingup Jalbrook Cottages Jalbrook Estate each offer a balcony, a log fireplace and a fully equipped kitchen with Nespresso machine. The property is home to alpacas and abundant bird life. We offer two pet-friendly cottages for visitors with four-legged friends. (additional fee applies)
Each Jalbrook Cottage features polished wooden floors, stained-glass doors and views over Balingup Brook or the gardens. All offer an outdoor furniture and a living area with a sofa, a SMART TV and a DVD player. All cottages have Free Starlink WIFI.
Guests can relax with an on-site massage upon prior request.
Jalbrook Cottages are located next to the Bibbulmun Track, in the heart of the Blackwood River Valley. It is 3 minutes’ drive from the Balingup town ship. Bunbury and Busselton are each a 1 hours’ drive away.

This place is unpretentiously perfect. The beds are very comfortable and the houses have such a relaxed, natural feel. Each cottage has a four person spa which was very relaxing. The gardens are beautiful and it is so quiet. I was with a large group mid week and we booked the Lodge and three of the cottages. They were just the right size for what we needed. Lyn was very friendly and helpful with the booking process.

The loveliest spot to relax and reflect. Even lovelier now that our four legged girl can ‘wag’along. It’s quiet, the grounds are beautiful, the cottages so very comfortable and immaculately clean. The staff are warm and welcoming. Can’t wait for another visit.

Very lovely accomodation. We have been here three times and we love it. Teal cottage this time, still lovely and serene but we will likely pick corella or Ibis again next time if available. Lots of love, Danie, Liam and the local thirsty scorpion.

Beautiful location peaceful and relaxing. Very well presented and maintained area. The breakfast supplied is very thoughtful and cabins are very well equipped. Spa was fantastic we will definitely be back.

This is by far the best place to stay down south. Very tranquil and relaxing. The new lovely owner Lyn is extremely accommodating and very helpful. The cottages and grounds are gorgeous you also get breakfast as an extra in your cottage.. The beds are very comfortable you won’t want to get out of them. The hot relaxing spa in the cottage is a must. My favorite thing in the cottage besides the spa would be the fire place so I recommend going in the cooler months. Again I highly recommended staying at jalbrook cottages best place down south you won’t want to leave.

So beautiful and relaxing. Really a great place to stop and recharge yourself. The cottage is wonderful and clean. The bed was so comfy. It was a toss up between staying in the bed and sitting out in the peaceful surrounds! Staff are amazingly friendly. I am definitely coming back here.

A wonderful tranquil environment. We stayed in the Rosella cottage which was private with a beautiful outlook overlooking the brook and natural bush land. The bird life was spectacular! The spa was a luxury, but it did keep turning on and off throughout the night. The weather was on our side with cold clear days and very cold nights. We had to pay for the wood, but it was worth it to have a cozy fire. Made my day when 2 kangaroos bounced past me as I was wandering around the garden late one afternoon. An easy walk into town with lots of walking tracking tracks nearby.

We headed to Jalbrook for a girls weekend away - and the accommodation was sensational. The beds were oh so comfy, the pillows were light and fluffy (and I am fussy about my pillows), the bath robes were an added bonus (along with the hot tub) and the fire was already set for us to light when we arrived. The alpacas were very cute and we had some fairy wrens to visit too. The changing leaves on the trees made for many picturesque photos. The cottage was spotlessly clean and had everything we wanted for a lovely, relaxing and easy weekend away. It's so beautifully quiet there.

A fantastic location for a mums or couples or families retreat. The accommodation and facilities are exceptional and Lyn is a generous and caring host. Yoga, massages, wood fired pizzas, hot tubs and alpacas on-site provide a unique experience for all guests. Balingup and the Bib track are just a short walk away to explore. Thoroughly recommended!
