Hotel Himalayan Villa

Rooms weren’t worth the price. The food was good. Staff are friendly. Sadly, it was overcast so didn’t see the epic views, but the terrace is lovely and would be the ideal spot to see the snow capped mountains.

房間，我挑選可以直接看見喜馬拉雅的山景，有一個放空的小陽台，但基本上整個飯店許多角落都無死角雪山視野，簡單一句話，滿滿的雪山，讓你好幾年都忘不掉。 飯店的人員很友善，直接就熱心跟我提醒，這幾日的日出在06：12，大約05:45就要起床準備了，這次我訂了三個晚上的房間，所以本人有恃無恐的想著，無論有沒有醒來，我總會看到的。(最佳建議還是待兩個晚上以上，畢竟山上的雲霧很難預測，我看見一組客人只訂一個晚上，結果第二天起大霧。) 基本上，我都在飯店裡面吃喝與放空，看著不懂的印度電視劇，早上建議可以把餐盤拿到餐廳陽台享用，畢竟，看著雪山吃早餐，被一點點熱度的陽光曬著，你會由衷感謝山的招待。

The staff is not customer friendly. They try to push customers to follow as per their convenience. Example, the breakfast buffet times are 7-10 am but we were called at 9 since all other guests were done and they wanted to wind up quickly. Same with dinner as well.

We visited Hotel Himalayan Villa in September 2024 on our way to Chitwan, Nepal. We arrived in the evening and were greeted by Govinda Luitel, a well presented gentleman who welcomed us, made us comfortable and showed us to the patio overlooking the forest. The hotel is gorgeous and the staff very friendly. Our rooms were clean, specious and comfortable. We had our own balcony overlooking the sunrise. After dinner, we hang out on the patio, enjoying the sounds of the forest beneath us. We were hoping to see their incredible views of the sunrise the next morning, but it was cloudy and raining. Nevertheless we got some incredible views of the mountains and even though the sunrise was not there in all the glory we were expecting, the staff and the tranquility of the hotel made up for it. Our next visit to Nepal we would love to spend more time in this incredible hotel nested in the clouds. Highly recommend a 3-4 day stay there.

We had an amazing family trip, Everything was pretty well organized! Starting from Welcome drink to breakfast to dinner at hotel was pretty good! So do visit Himalayan villa if u visit nagarkot! Best was sunrise point! It was dream come true moment for us! Rooms were pretty decent as well! Service was at the best. So, overall it was an amazing stay at Himalayan Villa, Nagarkot, Nepal.

This was quite inconvenient and detracted from the overall convenience promised by room service.Another notable issue was the inconsistent hospitality from the staff. While the receptionist who guided me to breakfast was notably polite, professional, and helpful, other staff members displayed expressions that suggested they were unwelcoming or disinterested. There was a noticeable lack of warm greetings or genuine smiles, which impacted the welcoming atmosphere of the hotel.In conclusion, Hotel Himalayan Villa has great potential, especially with its breathtaking location and decent amenities like in-room dining. However, to provide a truly memorable experience, the hotel could benefit from improving its communication channels for room service and providing comprehensive hospitality training for all staff members. Addressing these areas would ensure that every guest receives the warm, welcoming stay they expect from a hotel of this caliber."

The property is very good. Room size is a bit small atleast in the one i stayed but the view was beautiful. Food was also good.

As you step into our welcoming abode, you'll immediately sense the warmth and hospitality that awaits you. The ambiance is inviting, with tastefully decorated interiors designed to provide a sense of home away from home.

The drive to Nagarkot from Kathmandu airport is long and with traffic - it becomes hard. Distance is not much, but the amount of time and the quality of the city roads is also a factor. Once near the hills after Bhaktapur it will start easing. The hills are not too winding, but you can feel the temperature getting cooler as the height increases. This property is little way off from the main road, but they have full parking for large and small vehicles. The reception is decent and it leads into their sitting area with a bar and sofas, and from there it leads to the main deck with outdoor seating. Before getting to the main deck - there are stairs leading to the restaurant, where the meals are served. Behind the reception, the stairs lead to a beautiful Buddha statue and pond and fountain. Very nicely done. The rooms are decent sized with balconies are facing the forested valley. Very serene and peaceful. When we reached in the evening, there was smoke in the air as there was a forest fire at a distant and the smoke subsided before the sunrise next morning. It was beautiful sight to see the orange hue, then the sun rising slowly with it's changing colors. This sunrise is very different from the other mountain sun rises that we have seen. Food quality was good at dinner, and same for the morning breakfast. Staff was courteous and polite.
