Fife Lodge Hotel

We were visiting family who stay in the area for a few days. Have stayed here a few times before but this time was best yet. Think the rooms may have been refurbished as the decor in our room seemed pretty fresh. Room 1 was large with a super king sized bed and a full size single bed. Believe they are Hypnos mattresses and they were very comfortable. Bedding was very good quality and the room was well decorated with plenty of hanging space and storage. Two easy chairs, a table, a desk and another chair still left plenty of space in the room. Bathroom was well appointed with a walk in shower and was immaculately clean. Only down point was that the windows were a bit dirty and there was condensation on them in the morning. As said by another reviewer, it did take a wee bit of time for the hot water to come through first thing on our second morning - it was fine first morning though. Staff are super helpful and interested in the guests and Colin, who served breakfast, is a ray of sunshine. Breakfast was made with local ingredients, was plentiful and tasty. Wi-fi can be a bit ropey but Fife Lodge is an old building and once you connect with the wi-fi it’s not bad. A very enjoyable experience and I would recommend the hotel to anyone.

What a great find!! Hotel is just beautiful, lovely spacious rooms! Cannot fault anything, it was great to see local staff and locally sourced ingredients. Evening meal was fabulous and even better finished off with an irish coffee! Breakfast was first class, such a friendly waiter, would highly recommend a stay here!

First time staying at the Fife Lodge Hotel and no complaints. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Room was comfortable with usual facilities. Didn’t have dinner in the hotel but breakfast following morning was great with plenty of choice. Will book again next time in Banff.

We had a lovely week long visit to the Fife Lodge, staying in the bungalow and dining in the restaurant. The staff and management were lovely, welcoming, friendly and attentive. The food quality was high and menu selection wide. Then there’s the portion sizes!!! They were Hugh with plenty of side plates of vegetables, even us hungry fishermen struggled. The bar was comfortable with a large range of drinks and efficiently staffed. Well well worth a visit, we will definitely be back next year.

My wife and I stayed 2 nights, attending an open-air play at Duff House. The weather was dreadful, but the hotel was wonderful: spacious and comfortable room, food delicious and generously portioned, and the staff friendly and attentive. Will be back.

This hotel was spotless. Very warm welcome. Comfortable bed. staff very friendly. We had evening meal for 2 nights that we stayed. The food was very good. Enjoyed the steak. Good selection of fish. Attentive service. We stayed in room 6 which was very big and spacious.
