Banff Ptarmigan Inn recensioner

Loved our stay at Babff Ptarmigan Inn. The room was cleaned properly even the room services was perfect. We got a free transit pass with our reservation which we utilized! The picture is our view which you can see the mountains partially and it’s still so pretty!

The hotel is in a great position. I had a suite that was on the second floor with a balcony at the front of the hotel. It was a bit noisy at night with people outside and in the rooms nearby. The room was great except there were no drawers at all, so you need to live out of your suitcase. The internal heating was noisy. Staff at reception were ok, one person was downright rude to me when I asked for a spoon. Love the bathroom products.

This place is strategically located. It is situated directly opposite Banff High School Transit where travelers can take Roam 8x to Lake Louise. Right outside, there are local buses you can take, example Roam 1 which takes you to Banff Gondola. The Inn also provides complimentary local Roam tickets. You will have to purchase Roam 8x express on your own. For drivers, they have complimentary parking too (depends on availability). We will return again because of its location. Staff service, room cleanliness, amenities are all good. Nothing to complain about.

The check in was smooth and everything went well. The main issue was there was sometimes not enough parking. Make sure you come early enough :/

Clean with full amenities. Balcony is really tiny. A bit pricy.

Services are good as the front desk helps us to call and book when we are looking for local tour package. Banff local bus ticket is also provided that tourists can go to sulphur mountain and hot spring for free. Also, it’s near IGA grocery which means it’s easy to pick up some snacks and drinks as needed. However, the experience of staying on the bed is unforgettable that I got tons of static shock due to the bed sheet. Besides this, everything is good.
