Jag har varit här flera gånger. Och det var bra tills den här gången misslyckades mig lite med personalen när jag checkade in. Hon verkar upptagen och inte vänlig.
Alla bekvämligheter är på begäran och det tar som en evighet att ta med det till vårt rum.
Jag beställer kryddig gräs nudelsallad skaldjur 340 thb med skatt och dess fiskiga af. Åt bara gräsnudlar. Så ledsen.

Vi stannade på detta hotell i 2 dagar, vid första anblicken var allt bra - snabb incheckning, bekväma rum, tofflor och extra flaska vatten tillhandahålls på begäran, även du kan be om rumsservice. Den andra dagen hittade vi två kackerlackor i vårt rum, vi bytte rum. Sista dagen vid frukosten hittade vi en annan kackerlacka precis vid kaffemaskinen, efter det kan vi inte äta mer. Mycket dålig frukost, det billigaste brödet, smaklös juice, bara frukt var välsmakande. När vi checkar ut förlorar anställd vår insättning och vi borde vänta i 20 minuter, pengarna var precis över i hennes reception, jag sa flera gånger att vi hade bråttom, men ingen brydde sig, till slut hittade hon vår deposition på 20 dollar och jag bad henne byta ut den mot BAHT, men hon sa att det är omöjligt eftersom det fanns en liten pennskylt på sedeln, men det strider inte mot lagen. Den anställde log sarkastiskt och sa "nej", jag kan inte byta det, vi hade bråttom och har inte tid att argumentera för något annat. Jag råder er alla att undvika detta hotell!!!

My previous stay in ibis style was pretty enjoyable. Room was very cleaned and the staffs at the reception were helpful. The view from the restaurant was amazing when having the breakfast. A little bit noisy because of the train , may be because of the location.

This Ibis Hotel was awesome. Right across the street from a street market, one minute to a 7-11 and a 5 minute walk to a BTS Skytrain Station to get you where you need to go. The service was awesome. Front desk staff could communicate in English and were quick to assist when needed. My room was clean. The hotel itself was clean. The elevator is whisper quiet and quick. The bathroom and shower were completely updated and the AC was perfect considering how hot it was. The breakfast buffet was excellent. You could have a cook create your own scrambled eggs or have the fried eggs supplied. Breakfast accommodated vegetarian needs as well. The views from the rooftop lounge were fantastic, especially at night. I didn’t use the pool but it looked cool overlooking the street. The two gentlemen at the front door were smiley and always helpful assisting where needed. I’d stay here on my next visit to Bangkok for sure.

Pros: Great location; close to BTS. Amazing staff especially the team at breakfast service. The door men in the lobby also greets you with a smile as you enter and exit. The house keeping ladies are great too; polite, efficient, and fast. Lots of great food places nearby at affordable prices. 7-11 outside the hotel. Jidapa massage place nearby is also great.
Cons: weak sound-proofing. I requested a quiet room and was put in a corner room in the back away from the Main Street but was still able to hear BTS train and ambulance sounds at times. Also, the if people are talking on the corridor, you could hear them. Not a deal breaker for me as it was bearable but if you are sensitive to noise, something to consider.
Small thing but they need towel hooks in the bathroom.
also, the pool only gets sun in the mornings. Only 2 sun loungers. If you are a sun-worshipper looking to top up your tan, prob not for you.
Overall, great experience. Would stay again.

Overall a good Hotel, clean nice rooms. Downsides: there is a noise from BTS strains and window Don't open. WiFi is mediocre, very slow, but working. All staff is super nice and welcoming.

A few of the Staffs are exceptional helpful and nice. ( the lady with round glasses, the gentlemen that always stand outside the main sliding door to help us open/close car door & welcoming us warmly.)
Hotel breakfast is boring - everyday almost similar.
Food not as clean, I came across mosquito in my soup noodles.
Communication might break down sometimes.
There’s a 7-Eleven just 1min walk beside.

I had an outstanding stay at Ibis Styles Bangkok Hotel! The service was top-notch, with friendly and attentive staff who went above and beyond to ensure my comfort. The room was spotless and well-appointed, and the breakfast buffet offered a fantastic variety of options to suit all tastes. The hotel also had a great pool and gym, which were perfect for unwinding after a long day. But what really impressed me was their honesty - I accidentally left money on my bed, but it was still there when I returned, unscathed! I highly recommend this hotel for its exceptional service, cleanliness, and overall value.

The hotel room was clean but toileteries such as tooth brush, toothpaste, comb etc. were not provided. Delicious paid breakfast for 250 THB per person with vegetarian options. The location is bit far from Sukhumvit main market near blue metro line station but green metro line is nearby. The hotel charges 500 THB deposit per day.

Issue 1: Room Condition
Upon entering my room on the first day, I was disappointed to find it did not meet the standard I had anticipated. The room had not been cleaned properly; there were stains on almost every counter, and the bathroom had significant issues, such as a leaking faucet and water shortages during the shower in the evening. When I called reception, I was told to use the outdoor bath on the 7th floor, which I found completely ridiculous for a 4-star hotel. Additionally, the bathroom floor was slippery due to the lack of a door between the shower and the toilet. I also had to call for basic toiletries like a toothbrush and disposable slippers. The hotel’s liquid cleanser was a multi-purpose product, which was confusing, as it could be used for body, face, and hair, eliminating the need for separate bottles. Furthermore, the mattress and pillows were old and uncomfortable to the point that I developed back pain by Day 2. I did not sleep well at all. On Day 2, the situation worsened as the room was not properly cleaned; only the towels were changed, and the bed was simply rearranged.
Issue 2: Customer Service
I encountered poor service throughout my stay. The front desk staff were unhelpful, rude, and displayed discriminatory behavior during my check-in process. I was standing in the second line while a white customer was in the first line. When it was my turn, the receptionist asked me to wait and served the white customer first. At check-in, I requested an early check-in, which was less than an hour earlier than the standard time. The receptionist claimed that the room was still being prepared and that I would need to wait. However, the room was clearly ready, and the hotel only wanted to charge me an additional 500 Baht for the early check-in. The receptionist rudely directed me to the waiting area, and when it was finally time to check in, they did not bother to notify me that my room was ready.
Issue 3: Noise Disturbance
I had requested a quiet room with a good view, but my room faced a train railway, which was noisy, especially at night. On Day 2, there was further disturbance from loud guests late at night, which disrupted my ability to relax during my stay.
The only positive aspect of my stay was the door service staff, who were helpful and friendly. Unfortunately, the rest of the staff who spoke basic English did not meet the standards I expected from a 4-star hotel. In fact, the service I received was worse than at some hostels. From this experience, I’ve learned to be more cautious when booking hotels, as I can no longer rely solely on their ratings.

Wonderful stay at the hotel. It’s got everything you need and location is good just 300m from the BTS station. The room isn’t big but it’s not cramp either and for that price point it’s good value.
