Riverside Bangkok Hotel recensioner

I purposedly paid extra to stay at this hotel with the river view. Everything was perfect! Except UNFRIENDLY OLD WOMEN at customer service counter. Not welcoming guest, ask to come again to counter at 2 pm . Not even smile, not even ask for a sit , what she did is dont care and let customer wait. Untile 13.45 there is new guest came to counter they just process without saying anything while i am still standing n waiting. Until i have to ask again at counter them the other girl help woth room check in. I thought again is ok until i checked out again this old women acting the same not even telling everything is ok or not until i decided to left just like that. Serious this staff shouldn’t be at the counter at all. How beautiful the view is but i wont come again if u have a bad manner customer service.

I loved the room, the bed, the river view. But this hotel is not within tourist belt. Nothing out there to see. Having said that, it is easy to get a Grab car, bike and the river boats to tourist places nearby. Khaosan Rd and Yaowarat (Chinatown), are nearby. From Chinatown, you can take the Yellow Flag boat to many riverside tourist spots: i took it all the way to Iconosiam. For me, the winning point of the hotel is the river view. A good view is hard to put a value to. See my window view pic.

Very nice stay here, I had a river view room and got lucky with the corner room, so a really good view. The room was nice though seemed to need some maintenance in some places, including a leaky AC. Good amenities with a pool, gym and good (but expensive) laundry service. Friendly enough staff here.

Stayed 3 nites. Chose this Hotel because it was close to one of our intended destinations. It is far from Central Bangkok, however accessible by the Metro (station @1km walk) or River boat taxi. Plenty of food stalls/restaurants on the main road. Hotel is old and tired, however has river view, clean, comfortable, and friendly staff. The gym is small but adequate, and saltwater pool. The downside, it was murky.

1st time stay in this hotel ,we arrived around 1 pm and was told to wait 2 pm for check in than all the guest hv to queue and take me half an hour to register n check in . This check in system hv to change as guest come early can register first and get the key later . Room is rather old need upgrading otherwise location near river is nice . Riverside BKK can do better for the guest hopefully .

Choosing this hotel gear us to use the water taxi readily. It's about a 7 minute walk to the pier. The metro station is about 1km away. Good walk. Hotel is clean

The hotel is in an ideal location for viewing the Chao Praya river at night (and during the day). Although the hotel must have been built a few decades or so ago, the amenities and rooms are spectacular!

The room was clean and the staff was kind. However, there was no plug on one side of the bed and one light was broken so the room was quite dark. The towels were small and the shower was also just okay. For the price, it's okay. The view was quite good as well!

Big rooms with views of the Chao Phaya River. Nearby Night streets are full of interesting local foods . Hotel laundry is good.

Hotel location was not bad and old hotel. Check in processing is too slow , the most stressful thing is you will spend 1 hour for check in only. Cleaning was not bad.

Good price and clean but breakfast time is Only 7Am To 9:30 AM . And breakfast is not too special .

The hotel room was okay. The aircon was super loud and it was hard to sleep. The location was beautiful with river view so I’d suggest the higher rooms. You can see the river from your shower too. Rooms with one bedrooms are better because the bed size is bigger. Two beds room were smaller. The service people are not very nice but helpful in most ways.

making LINE friendship with the housekeeping staff because been staying a week of December 2024 to celebrate Christmas with them:/: celebrate my bday with small cake from nearby Seven-Eleven nearby and a week of 2025 celebrating nEw year with them. #Bus No. 28 will take you to the nearest BTS station(s) IF you wanted travel like local
