The Duchess Hotel recensioner

After checking in, I waited for almost two hours for the air conditioner to be repaired. The hotel staff didn't explain anything from beginning to end and just kept me waiting.

Room was big amenities minimal bed was hard hotel going through renovations bar at the hotel downstairs was the most attractive of the overall building. Aircon was cold but the rest especially the tv channel signal was disastrous. Good walk to central gaysorn

Location is good the room is fine don’t expect too much is ok.

I loved my stay here. I have literally stayed at all the hotels on Lang Suan. The rooms are neat, huge and well equipped. The staff at the reception are reserved but helpful once you stay for long. The location is quite a walk from Chit Lom station or to a nearby 7-11.

Very good ambiance and service.

Worth the money. The location was great. Close to shopping centers and bts. However there’s a bar at ground floor which can be a little noisy when you walk pass hotel lobby. Not a kids friendly hotel for sure.

Great location. Walkable to the BTS. Surrounded by plenty of food places.

This is the forth times for us staying here at the duchess. We are always love this place for its spacious and it is just situated right in the city center. You can walk just 10 mins to central chidlom or 20 mins to central world. Staffs are attentive and nice. Well, however, the room is not cleaned as we first stayed in 2022, the mattress was very hard to sleep on, and the pillows wasn’t in good condition. The hotel amenities such as refrigerator, microwave and washing machine are old and without well maintenance.

Thankful to be upgraded to a one bedroom. They’re going through refurbishment and it’s hard to tell if I got the old or new room. Generally okay, amenities are hopeless to be honest. Just go to 7Eleven.

Property is very old and tired. Need major refurbishments. Staff motivation to work  is very low and low service level.

Hotel is as always, excellent. Unfortunately due to renovations the restaurant and swimming pool were closed.

Bar at the lobby is crazy loud every night, ruins the hotel vibes. Not sure how the receptionist stands it. Shower temperature wasnt hot enough throughout the few nights we were there.

walking distance from chit lom bts exit 4. not that near but you may have pitstop at few convenience store. around 8-10minutes walk. 5-7mins to the park. hotel pool under maintenance till mid 2024. spacious room. comfortable. friendly housekeeping. friendly reception staff too. overall good stay.
