Four Points by Sheraton Bansko recensioner

I have a special experience with this hotel. So I am staying for 2 nights. On the first night, they gave me a disabled room instead of what I had booked. I have tried to speak to the receptionist but have been told that it is fully booked, so they are not able to provide the room type that I booked. When I checked in, they did not mention anything about that. So I would advise to double check when you get into your room.I have talked to trip.com, and they informed me that the hotel has actually upgraded my room with a balcony. But I don't actually use the balcony and I would like to get the room type that I booked because that is what I need. So trip.com has sorted it out for me with the hotel manager and they agreed to change the room for me on the second night. I would say the room that I booked is much more bigger than the room that I stayed on the first night. There are pictures for both room below. I am glad that trip.com can sort this out for me and the hotel has changed it for me. Otherwise I probably will make a complaint about that. So, I am quite satisfied about sorting out the query. The room is clean in general. However, the pillow is not comfortable at all. A basic selection of breakfast. Location is quite good as it is only 5 to 10 minutes walk to ski schools and the resort. It is close to the restaurant as well. Staff are good, but I found a bit difficult to communicate in English. They can speak English, but I would say only basic conversation. The ski school in the hotel is too expensive. Although they said it is a VIP course but you can found somewhere cheaper in about 5 minutes walk.

nice hotel and location in the centre of old city bosphorus. Stay there for 5 days. but room services/cleaning need to improve.

The hotel was recently renovated, the lobby is nice with the stuff at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good for a 4 star hotel and overall we enjoyed our stay.

We visited the hotel during the busy Feb school holidays and we were so happy we chose to stay here! The rooms were spotless, the beds comfortable and the facilities fantastic…the pool and spa was a welcome treat after being on the slopes all day. We stayed half board and both breakfast and dinner was fresh, plentiful and delicious. The hotel has recently been completely refurbished and all areas were warm, inviting and very clean. The location of the hotel is around 10 min walk to the gondola (hotel also provide shuttle) and is centrally located in bankso which is a charming little town to wander around. You must try black honey coffee shop! A huge thank you to Maria who ensured our stay was special by and to all the staff who were wonderful.

Spa facilities - great! Tomato soup - best I’ve ever had Breakfast - great!! Coffee - strong Bathroom - super clean and modern! Rooms - modern, compact but perfect Staff - lovely Location - 3-5 mins away from Gondola and great location around the pubs, bars, clubs and restaurants. Far enough away for it to be super quiet also.

Lovely hotel, very helpful staff and great location. From talking to locals this hotel has just reopened recently after a full refurbishment. The pool/spa is lovely and clean. Rooms are well appointed and very clean. We will definitely be back if we can.

Review After reading multiple mixed reviews we were a little apprehensive about staying at this hotel, however, it exceeded all of our expectations. Staff were all friendly, check in was seamless, hotel was immaculate (attached some pics), everywhere was clean and smelt incredible. Rooms were perfect too. Modern, comfy and well equipped. We booked with Crystal ski company. So our lift pass, ski hire etc was all included. The hotel has a heated ski room with plenty of storage and heated boot racks too. The free shuttle bus to the gondola was handy, although it’s only a 5-10 min walk away (max). Spa was perfect for relaxing after a long day skiing, nice heated pool, plenty of saunas/steam rooms. Breakfast was a little repetitive, but plenty of choice and always fresh. Lots of bars and restaurants close by. We particularly loved the old town, seemed much cheaper than the high street by the gondola too. Overall would highly recommend. Thank you.

The rooms were spacious and well-equipped, providing all the comfort we needed. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making our stay truly enjoyable. The hotel’s location is excellent, which made exploring the area effortless. The food was delicious, and the cleanliness throughout the hotel was impeccable. The staff’s exceptional kindness and professionalism stood out the most. We will definitely be returning!

This hotel could be amazing but it’s not. It looks pretty and smells great when you walk in but it’s not 4 star treatment. When you complain you get a superficial standard response but they don’t care. The Rooms are ridiculous hot! Even went you turn off the radiators, you can’t use the air con to set the room to a cooler temperature. So we’d open the window but couldn’t do this at night as it would then be freezing. Had poor nights sleep due to waking up with the heat. I also had a very noisy fridge, which kept me awake so got that turned off after first night sleep. The bed lining is very starchy and scratchy on the skin till you break it in. Breakfast is ALWAYS cold! I was there for 7 days and not once enjoyed a hot or warm cooked breakfast. We made the mistake of going to the evening meal. It says it’s a buffet but you do not have much choice. There was 3 serving trays to pick, one being rice and then a hot plate with vegetables on. The cost for this is outrageous for what it is!! Just like breakfast, it was cold. Don’t waste your money and go and eat in a restaurant in town. For the money you pay I believe you could get better at some of the 3* in Bansko. Also, even though the website says you have Mountain View’s this is not the case for all rooms. We were lucky and did but the majority of rooms do not. So again don’t pick this hotel thinking you’ll have the best views as some are onto other rooms in the hotel. The website is very misleading and I heard a few angry people complaining about this. You get tea/coffee making facilities but no milk to go with it. Also it was fruit teas, would have been nice to have breakfast tea too. However with no milk, just meant i couldn’t have a hot drink in the room. Hot chocolate sachets would have also been a nice addition. Positives- if you want to pay more you can get VIP gondola pass at the hotel. Handy in peak season but cheaper to get a taxi/mini bus up. Hotels put on shuttle bus to gondola. would be nice if in peak season if they could take you up the mountain. Especially for those who don’t have the VIP lift pass. I wasn’t told we could get these so brought my list pass like everyone else at Bansko. Only found out once I spoke to others I met on the slopes. Surely this info should be given when you check in. Location is decent. Spa/pool was nice

Amazing hotel! As a frequent traveler, I find myself in a lot of different hotels all around the world, and I must say that this was one of my best hotel experiences! The staff are extremely welcoming and kind, the rooms and public areas are beautiful and spacious, great pool and spa, definitely recommended for anyone visiting Bansko!

The hotel is at a great location - close to the city center, close to shops and main streets with restaurants and bars, and at the same time close to the gondola cabin. The rooms are spacious and stylish, there is a nice balcony as well as coffee machine and tea. Every day they bring 2 bottles of water as a compliment. There is a nice spa and pool (outside and inside). Overall, the place is amazing for a holiday in the mountains!
