We had a fabulous stay at the Hempstead, from the moment we arrived we were greeted by a very welcoming gentleman who checked us in and also showed us to our room & explained where the restaurant, spa etc were. We had an executive double room which was a lovely room with a king size bed. We ate at the hotels Lakeside restaurant for our evening meal, which was delicious, fresh & faultless, as was the breakfast here too. The spa area was very clean & really nice pool & area to relax. The staff at this hotel are an absolute credit, they made you feel so welcome, so friendly & nothing was too much trouble, we have been to many hotels and have never felt so comfortable and relaxed. We can’t wait to return! Thank you for a wonderful stay.

This place is exceptional for us as it is only a 25 minute drive away and the food, facilities and the service are brilliant. Worth mentioning are Megan and Beth in the spa who gave have us both a very good relaxing massage, Nicola on Reception, Lisa, Amy, and Paul waited on us at table as well as Sorin who was very helpful. However it is important to stress that all the staff were very good. We’ll be back!

We stayed for one night as a anniversary treat, with access to the spa facilities. We made good use of it all, the gym, pool and treatment rooms. The overall decor throughout is very grand and stunning. All staff are very polite and helpful. Breakfast was included and it didn’t disappoint. Overall a lovely stay. Beautiful grounds throughout.

Where do I start?! Our whole experience at Hempstead House, from the first planning meeting to the actual day, was amazing beyond what we ever imagined. Lucy made the planning and organising so stress free and enjoyable, recommending an amazing photographer (Samantha Jones) and cake maker ( The Cake Witch) and made us feel like nothing was too much through the whole process. Danny…well what can we say..the man was a legend as Master of Ceremonies! He brought everything together on the day and provided us with a day to remember always. But it wasn’t just them, the whole team at Hempstead House were amazing, we cannot praise them all enough, from the front desk, to the chef, to the waiting staff, to the bar staff, to the people who took care of our room (oh the Ashby Suite is phenomenal!) everybody THANK YOU SO MUCH!! We will see you on our first anniversary!

I had the most amazing night away at Hempstead House. My husband surprised me for my birthday and I couldn't have had a better gift. Our room was unexpectedly upgraded and I was wished a Happy birthday and had birthday confetti on our table. The staff are so lovely and friendly, nothing too much trouble they all work so hard to please and they made my stay unforgettable. The swimming pool was so enjoyable as was my evening meal and breakfast. We had a few niggles which we pointed out at check out but they didn't ruin our stay. I can't wait to stay again!!

What can I say…. We got married at this lovely hotel at the weekend. From the day we went to enquire to the day we actually got married we were treated with respect, kindness, and care all with professionalism. The day itself was perfect. All our guests commented on how great the food was served by a group of young people who without exception were amazing. All the personnel in the hotel are to be commended. Special thanks go to Danny and Harrison who absolutely made our day. Thank you

This was our third visit to this wonderful hotel and spa.It never fails to hit the dmspot for a relaxing stay in beautiful surroundings Spotlessly clean rooms/comfy bed/Friendly staff from reception/kitchen/restaurant/ barstaff/housekeepers they all had a smile and a welcome greeting.The spa is so tranquil and peaceful and the towels and changing facilities excellent.We ate in the lakes restaurant in which the service and ambience is 10/10.The menu although small caters for all tastes( Meat/fish/vegan/vegetarian) and was nicely presented and very tasty(Thank you kitchen brigade)Again the breakfast options were good and service friendly and on point as in rhe previous evening.All in all i cant recommend this hotel enough.You may find cheaper in surrounding areas but i refuse to believe you will find better.Thanks again to everyone involved in msking our stay another one to remember.We will be back in the new year for sure 10/10
