This is a well-run inn with a helpful manager on site, serving great multi-course breakfasts, and it is very convenient to the center of town and to the park. The location, the food, the helpful staff, nothing at all to fault there, and plenty of parking too. But the room we stayed in fell short. We stayed in the Cranberry Isles room on the second floor, the one with the separate bathroom in the hallway. The bathroom door is right across the (very narrow) hallway from another guest suite, but we never saw those other guests so no awkward hallway encounters. We knew it was not ideal, having to take a key and go a few steps down the hall to use the bathroom, but it was the only room available and the inn got great reviews so we tried it. The room itself is very small and has a wall unit air conditioner/heater. The unit is loud, the weather was a bit warm and although the room has windows on 3 walls, they only open on one wall, so we needed the AC. It was a bit too loud to leave on at night. The bed was a smallish queen size, the linens and pillows were comfortable but the mattress a bit too soft for us. The bathroom is also very small, with a corner shower unit and a small corner sink. Our only complaint was that we left the sign on the handle in hopes of getting new towels but this didn't happen. The toilet also doesn't really flush well right away, it takes a few tries. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, and will consider going back, but if the Cranberry Isles room is the only one available again, we'll probably pass on it.
